I made stupid mistakes with my more aggressive team members, but I almost got the job done with just the Water-type, surprisingly.

I was scared that I couldn't outspeed it at +2 with a scarf. Not to mention trying to kill it at half health >_<

That was incredibly close. That Water type of yours could've easily destroyed me if I didn't play around it.

For some reason, my game is unable to connect to my Wi-Fi. My 3DS can, but the game is giving me an error. I'll see if I can resolve the issue. If not, I'll tell you tomorrow.

I've read that Smogon limited Baton Pass but I can't find anything in the rules for our site or theirs that mentions this. Are we limiting Baton Pass for the League?

Not really. Just in general. Some of the fire has dimmed, Y'know? It's still there, just not as hot.

Fighting Sub-zero...my Luna was +6 Attack and Defense, and he used Air Slash. Luna flinched. Six times in a row. Luna fainted and he swept my team. I just stared in shock for a second.

PP maxes are so important I would've won if I had used mirror coat twice (badly poisoned the Avalugg), switched out Luna for my Wobbuffet before wasting so much PP (Destiny Bond, anyone?). I had only three PP left, 2 for Heal Bell and 1 for Moonlight.

I shouldn't have switched Avalugg out. And I would've won if I actually used my PP Maxes.

I love my Vanilluxe. I've only really used it twice and it works amazingly. Your strategy was pretty good. Oh, and I would've been in trouble if you got rid of my Scizor. (Uhh, I just realized that I went 7 straight turns without getting para haxed)

I admin the roleplay site in my sig, but my parents have always disliked online social activities with those one doesn't know in real life. I don't think they'd approve, so they don't know about it.
Often I wonder if they do care about my happiness as long as I live up to their expectations...
Awesome! It's strange how no one seems to think of such things, yes? Due to my interest on psychology, I've done a small amount of research in that area. Glad it helped you out so much!

It's okay- I think one of my old friends had this same problem too. Your parents- like mine, are probably old fashioned, so they don't understand as much as we do. I think there are two reason why my parents aren't making the computer and gaming in general a big deal: they know that games make me happy and that I moderate a site- which is also a big deal.

I think their attitude changed when they read my college essay: it was about how I met friends on a forum and how I had responsibilities online. Even my college counselor liked it when she read it- because of how unique this sort of topic was.

I was actually interested in the essay as I was writing it up. When applying for college, it really helps to use a unique topic for your essay when you start sending your forms to colleges. I'm almost certain that the reason I got into my top choice was because of my essay.

Well, my mother gave me a lecture of sorts. Apparently my parents think the games are what are causing my sudden drop in mood, and she said they'll take more away if it continues to negatively influence me.
I'm failing to see her logic at this point.
So they take something away and a problem arises. They assume that taking more away will make the problem go away. Illogical.
Sorry for semi-ranting about this stuff.

I've come to that conclusion as well. It sounds cliché of course, but they don't make an effort to understand how the youth world has changed since their day. They see video games as a means of lazy, antisocial time-wasting. Sometimes of course that's true, but I play a lot of online games and such to be able to socialize without the barriers my condition erects. They always ask me why I sit around instead of playing outside, and seem mystified by my responses.

At this point, I would just blame it on bad parenting >_>

Maybe, maybe not. They did block me out for a week once. I remember everyone kept asking me what was wrong, and said I looked upset throughout the week. About halfway through I told my mother about it, and she in turn told my father. The punishment continued until it reached the end of its term.

Maybe you should stop gaming for 1 whole day and then tell your parents how you feel. If they see you feeling worse, then they may work with you.

I told them that it was my main source of stress relief, and that moving caused a lot of it, which is why I was playing more than usual. Being generally against gaming, they insisted that it was causing stress instead of relieving it and did not waver their punishment.

I would think that it's easier to at least hint to them about your depression. If you tell them that gaming relieves your stress and makes you feel better, then I'm sure they would understand.

I don't know if I mentioned it, but my parents are not aware of my transsexuality or indeed my depression.

They've mentioned it, and that's how I've been passing the time, but it doesn't fully absorb my attention like gaming does.

Maybe they want you to read books instead? (I've never been a huge fan of reading >_<)

I have plenty of video game projects, but that's exactly what they're trying to prevent me from doing. I'm not much of an artist, and I write best when I can double check sources and various other things that are much more difficult to do without a computer.

Maybe you can make projects? o: I have a tendency to have too many projects- either related to videogames or drawing/writing.

They say that, but I really have nothing to do. I just moved late June, so I have no friends, don't know the area, I'm not even remotely athletic, I have no projects...

Hmmm that's a bit unfortunate. Maybe they want you to do more...important things? I never had this problem, so I can't give good advice. :<

I've been thinking too much about my life, and that makes me more depressed. My parents decided I was spending too much time on electronic entertainment so they lock me out of my computer after 5pm, and try their best to prevent me from playing it before then. My main form of distraction gone, I've had too much time to think.

If the mood strikes me. Recently I've been more hopeless than sorrowful, so I just failed to see the point.

I like reading poetry over books, so that's why. Are you gonna end up posting more?
