The effect of high Data Sense on my signature image reminds me of what happens when you try to tile map a "bitmap" with less than the image's worth of tiles. Somehow they manage to come up with obvious repeating, limited-colour tiles as replacement.
Nah, I can believe it. They'd been partners for quite some time before the acquisition, and Nokia was a dying brand in the US and parts of Europe before Microsoft stepped in.
So I'm listening to some songs from a compilation album that seem to be from a time before digital mastering, CDs, and DATs. Apparently, they didn't clean them up enough for the CD compilation and I keep hearing some kind of noticeable background hiss on my laptop.
What could it be?
(Stereo is also weird-ish for some tracks there. No hard left/right, but it seems to have... issues.)
