Seems like I'm going to have fun organizing and fixing up the metadata of all the tracks that you've released before I sync them to my phone.

Problem? I'm unsure what to label their "album" as.

I think the 110 is using samples superior to the SoundCanvas which is so common, it's boring.

    Sinnoh Underground, anyone?

I still remember playing MIDIs on a 6230. Tinny speakers, yeah, but it was strangely enjoyable.

The way the 110 handles reverb is simple: one extra layer, delayed.

To be honest, I wasn't too thrilled about the MIDI synth in that old Samsung phone. I've certainly heard better MIDI synthesizers.

Here's the phone I had before I upgraded to my iPhone 4S:

For prepaid, it was perfect for what I needed it, and its MIDI engine made me think of a mix between the Merlin Gold SoundFont and Yamaha OPL-3.

Can you Zorua? Shoryuken (surrrrrre you can). X3

    t239?

Hmm. Some songs have bass that are exaggerated or not so low that they can heard even on anemic mobile speakers. Even better when they are good ones.

Ah, I see. Interesting looking phone.

Anything newer than an N64 more than likely sounds better. I mean, I used to have MIDI's on my old Samsung T239, and I think it sounded better than the N64.

My phone runs on Windows CE.

End of the line for CE, though. Its successor model runs on Windows NT.

Mmm, some, but not all Dreamcast games run on CE.

(I just noticed that Dreamcast is a suggestion on the Windows Phone keyboard)

From what I've experienced, capacitive styluses work quite well indeed. Compared to my first stylus from Griffin Technologies (it was pretty overpriced at $30 US Dollars, and the tip has a lot of friction), I have noticed that some of the less expensive stylus seem to glide quite easily across screen protectors on pretty much any smartphone or tablet, as is the case with my iPhone and the $5 3-pack of styluses I recently got from Amazon. I even tried the styluses on my father's iPad the other day when I was visiting, and they glided just as easily across the iPad's screen.

So yeah, if you would like to save money by getting an inexpensive capacitive stylus, you won't be disappointed by what Amazon has to offer.

Yeah, a lot has changed since then. As you've probably already noticed, I re-worked the main post so that everything is in spoilers, rather than having a cluttered list, and there will be a SoundFont collection available to anyone on VictoryRoad. What that means, is everybody will able to use the same drum samples that I've used in my previous works, as long as they have a way to use SoundFonts. I swear that my OCD got the better of me when I put everything in spoilers. X3

By the way, you've got some pretty slick tech toys. I especially love the Wedge. :3

Sometimes we all get tired of seeing the official artwork of any given Pokemon, and it's quite refreshing to see another person's artistic interpretation of the same Pokemon. Just on a whim, I looked up Ninetales awhile ago on DeviantArt, and I was impressed at how good a job people have done in drawing her. It was certainly better than seeing the same picture time after time.

*highstumps* Do whatever you think is best. If the data are all in your user folder, you might want to consider just "mostly" moving the data out. I've noticed that I can get away with a smaller backup when it's not the entire computer, complete with OS components and downloaded-from-the-Internet apps that I can just GoogleBing.

I don't need an OEM copy of Windows 7. Not when I've bought the legit retail version through my college's software store.

Yeah, I thought about turning my Mac into a Windows machine, but the thing is, I've got a lot of data in my Mac OS X partition that I would rather not lose, and I only have about 90 GB left on my external hard drive. I need to find an open-sourced, time-saving program that deletes any redundant files and frees up disk space.

I'm getting sick of how it takes forever to open things like System Preferences and Firefox. There once was a time where it would take five seconds to load either, but now it's like five minutes. It's no wonder I spend most of my time in Windows XP on my MacBook. Heck, I bet my iBook G3 could have done the same processes in just under a minute on a 466 MHz PowerPC G3 and 20 GB of hard disk space.

Got the Magic Mouse to work, finally. What I ended up doing was right-clicking on the mouse icon while setting it up, and in the Properties dialog, I enabled a check box next to "Drivers for keyboard, mice, etc. (HID)" under the Services tab.

In the Device Manager on Windows 7, I then set the Apple Built-In Bluetooth driver so that the computer doesn't automatically shut down the device when it's idle.

So yeah, the Magic Mouse finally works in Windows 7. :3

Yeah, I hate that about Mac OS X's MIDI integration. Another thing I hate is how it sometimes messes up the pitches of some instruments. Seems I'm better off using QMidi for previewing MIDI files... I have yet to get a registration code for it, but it's a great little MIDI player. If you know how to install SoundFonts and DLS files, you can use the SoundFonts as an alternate sound set in QMidi.

On another tangent, I'm still getting used to using the Magic Mouse. It doesn't work in Windows 7, and I really don't understand why, when it worked perfectly in XP. Maybe I'm doing something wrong while trying to connect... I really don't know.

OS X seems to use SoundCanvas samples while playing MIDIs from Finder, but there seems to be some loudness equalization hijinks going on. The volume is very uneven.

It also does reverb better than Microsoft Synthesizer, though, even though the latter is also capable of it.

Yes, Intel HD Graphics 3000 can run Skyrim on Low at 1366x768. OK-ish. 20-30 FPS. If I hack the configuration files and set it to run at 848x480, I get 30-60 FPS. Remember when you couldn't do anything with Intel GPUs?
