I know who I'm dealing with, but I can't say the same for you. You think I assert power without getting a second opinion on if what I'm doing is justified? Think again.
Since I am still very new to being a moderator, I asked one or two OTHER staff members if what I was doing was okay. Guess what. I got the green light.

I didn't expect you to--you're far too condescending to make me believe you'd let this go so easily. I'm just telling you what you could have done to not get your post deleted. It's been done, so we may as well just leave it behind and focus more on trying to prevent it from happening again. If you don't want to listen to me, that's your choice.

How was I supposed to know you were sick? When I read your post, here's what I got out of it:
"I decided to get online today, and it's boring as always. I take no interest in what other people are saying in this thread."
What were you sick with? Were you concerned about missing anything at school since you can't be there? Try to add stuff like that to your post instead of just "It's boring here."
