Haven't really tried any, frankly. I've just stuck with surge protectors.

Quick question: what's a good UPS for just a digital video receiver/recorder?

I just tried out one of these newfangled passive 3D TVs and it sure does look great. No flicker. Just comfortable.

Looks like we're back to basics with regards to Windows 8 editions

For most of us with x86 computers we only have to consider the normal edition and Pro

A combination of WOFF, TTF, OTF, SVG and EOT will cover pretty much every browser that does @font-face.

I think it's because I'm really starting to embrace new Web technologies but can't use them due to older browsers, particularly @font-face. Well, I could add EOT for older IE, but what about older browsers that aren't IE?

Mainstream support lasts for a minimum of 5 years
    Extended another five years

Version N+1 rule exists because SQL Server 2005 took too low to release so now mainstream support will end after 2 years of next product release if it does take longer than 5 years, which obviously happened with Windows XP

You might not want to rely on the CPU too much for web browsing these days. Or use nearest neighbourhood filtering. Really, the 3DS does have a great GPU to use. Maybe they need to have some lessons from the Safari team?

Now, one serious question: What did you do so that vB3 stops making IE to act like IE7? I'm intrigued. (Seems like when a new vB3 forum is set up, something is also set up to make IE act inferior.)
