I would have wanted to retain a kind of spam board in some degree, but after close to three years of having one and all the intra-staff complaints we've had about it, it just isn't worth having anymore. I'm sorry.
I'm not going to entirely deny that there were valid arguments about it becoming problematic due to it being over-run by (surprise) the same things that killed /b/uizel, but meanwhile I never noticed anything done to improve Glitch City's general image, which undeniably deteriorated greatly over time even with whatever amount of moderation was put into the board.
Additionally, I'd like to note how with the general environment that even you yourself encourage, more specifically the occasional amounts of over-moderation that went into both /b/uizel and Glitch City, neither of them were truly spam boards by most standards.
Not like you would see it that way at any rate, though. I just felt better off having said my full two cents worth anyway.
I've read it through at least twice by now, even made a quick post because I was in a rush doing other things when that thread went up in case you didn't notice.
Meaning I can also see how painfully one-sided that thread was.
