Another thing that annoys me (I'm an advanced user, though, so this might not apply for you) is the combination of the hardware. For everyday tasks like word processing and internet browsing, the Core 2 Duo processor is pretty good. When you're trying to run any 3D intensive program like just about any modern video game today, or virtualization software like VMware Fusion, Parallels Desktop, or Sun Microsystems Virtualbox, prepare for serious lag.

Cons: Although it's a good laptop, there are some things that might annoy you. For example, I'm going to take the available ports (which as a regular user might annoy you the most). A standard MacBook has a power port, an Ethernet port, a Mini DisplayPort... port (DisplayPort is an "open standard" which you can only find on Mac Minis, MacBooks of all models, and iMacs), two USB ports, and a special combination audio input/output jack. Unlike the Pro models, there is no SD card slot, which means that you're gonna have to use an external adapter. The way that the USB ports are placed can make plugging in flash drives and cords a big hassle (unfortunately, this is a universal con, since all Apple laptops have the same spacing between ports), and if you want to have an external mic plugged in and a speaker system, tough luck. Splitters won't even work, so... yeah. Also, if you want to plug in another monitor to the computer, you'll have to buy a proprietary adapter for it.

    MacBook:
Pros: overall, for standard use it's an okay laptop. I own an older model MacBook with similar specs as a new one today (it was premium at the time of purchase), and it can do a lot of stuff that you might throw at it. The keyboard is a pleasure to type on, and the trackpad is simply amazing due to its size and support for multi-touch. The screen is also very good, though the glossy finish might turn you off a little bit. Although I can't speak from personal experience, I hear that the battery is also very good as well. It also weighs a reasonable amount, which I find is a nice pro. The build quality is very sound as well. Also, for an Apple laptop, it's well priced at $1000.

I think your stab hit the target

Well, you have several options in this current generation of computers. The two that would make the most sense as a viable computer would be the entry-level MacBook and the MacBook Pro. I wouldn't recommend the Air, unless you really want the portability. From my experience, it's underpowered and overpriced.

Sounds pretty close to it to me. Although I'm pretty certain it's a fictional place

Hahaha, I'm sorry, but I'm not actually from New Mexico. You see, in one of my favorite games, Team Fortress 2, most of the maps are located in an area of New Mexico called Badlands. Many of the characters live there too.

Nice. You should draw more. I love artists. I do understand where you're coming from with being a perfectionist though. I'm the same way with drawing, which is why I naturally hate drawing. xD

I'm not sure if I'm going to be updating that for a while. I usually take submissions via e-mail.

They use hiragana and katakana. The katakana are mostly used for the Pokémon and many item/move names. Hiragana is used for pretty much everything else.

Y'know, there was only one knockoff Cat333Pokémon I saw prior to recently, and that would be RahTheLucario's e-mail address. However, I've been seeing quite a few of these AnimalNumberFranchise names, so I've been wondering similar myself.

How surprising it is since you are both almost the same age and that your favorite pokemon are Floatzel and Typloshion.
