Got the Magic Mouse to work, finally. What I ended up doing was right-clicking on the mouse icon while setting it up, and in the Properties dialog, I enabled a check box next to "Drivers for keyboard, mice, etc. (HID)" under the Services tab.

In the Device Manager on Windows 7, I then set the Apple Built-In Bluetooth driver so that the computer doesn't automatically shut down the device when it's idle.

So yeah, the Magic Mouse finally works in Windows 7. :3

Nope, I know exactly what it does. When it's not active, the processor is underclocked, so activating it makes it seem faster. I have seen a few modern computers with Turbo buttons, but they actually overclock the computer.

Yeah, I hate that about Mac OS X's MIDI integration. Another thing I hate is how it sometimes messes up the pitches of some instruments. Seems I'm better off using QMidi for previewing MIDI files... I have yet to get a registration code for it, but it's a great little MIDI player. If you know how to install SoundFonts and DLS files, you can use the SoundFonts as an alternate sound set in QMidi.

On another tangent, I'm still getting used to using the Magic Mouse. It doesn't work in Windows 7, and I really don't understand why, when it worked perfectly in XP. Maybe I'm doing something wrong while trying to connect... I really don't know.

Yep. My CPU goes anywhere from 800 MHz (per core, of course) to 3.4 GHz. If it hits 3.4 GHz per core, then it may be "overloaded."

Oh, regarding the hard drive in that image you commented on, I think there is something really wrong with it. It disconnects for no reason at all whenever I try reading that file around 4-30 GB in. I don't think I'm going to be using it anymore.

ClearType is a little funky on a CRT monitor in that it doesn't do much of anything compared to standard grayscale font smoothing. Then again, CRT monitors don't align the colors the same way. I think they're in a triangle on a CRT.

I just love the cycle that style has gone through. During the early 20th century, everything had to take advantage of associating a color with a brand name. During the '50s, stuff started looking rounded and fluid. During the '80s, everything had to be flashy. During the late '90s, it was all about using the latest technology available. Nowadays, it's back to the simple single-color square designs.
