It's not necessarily centralizing if you aren't used to it! Just because you have to use a couple of OU Pokémon doesn't mean you (or anyone) will use them effectively! That's what I for one, like about this tournament!

yep. pure fairy means no secondary types. that will get you +50pts.

um.... (Oh wow, now I'm confusing myself! XD )

If I understood the question correctly, then I say yes.

for the first one, if the other three pokemon have a type that is mixed with fairy, say, Steel/Fairy along 5 more pure fairy types, then you would get +20 pts. now lets say the same setup, but your EPs are both fairy and Steel, you would get +30 pts. If you had a full team of pure fairies (No other type/ mix) then you would get +50pts.

Basically, it does matter for which LP you get. Some would have two phases, but only grant x2pts (may actually make some tweaks here and there since I have too many multipliers atm) while others only have one phase but grant x4pts. and yes, you only get one LP.

As for EPs, they work depending on trainers who specialize in mono types, for they would get the most out of it. If you have a team with just one of the types that matches your EPs (Since you do get two EPs) you get +50pts added to your score when you win a battle. Even if they have other types, as long as they have at least one of the two types that match your EPs (May even call it AP, but that's irrelevant,) you will still gain at least +20pts added to your total score for every win. And if you have pokemon in a party whom have both types and no other types that match your EPs, you can get +30pts.

Example: EPs= fire/water
Party of 6 fire types= +50pts
Party of 6 water types= +50pts
Party of 3 fire types and 3 water types= +30pts
Party of any amount of fire types in ratio to water types and vice versa= +30 Pts
Party of 6 fire types with other secondary types besides water= +20pts
Party of 6 water types with other secondary types besides fire= +20pts

Hope that answered your question a bit. I'll post this on the thread for others to understand.

Well, technically you became a member and won the recruitment battle, so you technically ARE the new Boss challenge.

pretty much. Well, the first part anyway. I'm still developing a point system. I don't know how to manage points for everyone besides Bounties. I was thinking that the members could put their Pts Count in their sig, but the problem with that is the amount of space it would take up.... not to mention constantly updating their sigs. That's the biggest issue I'm having with the points. I figured that we'd just use points to potentially show how strong a bounty is, and use the boss challenge as something like a "King of the Hill" type of challenge. I think I also said if they stay boss for about a week and at least win against 3 challengers, they get points, But I may just instead keep them as boss for another week. if they can maintain a month of being boss, then they may get a rank up (Since I do have badges for ranks) or something like that. then again, to be fair, I'd remove their boss status and give it to someone else so that it may give everyone a chance. (Still thinking if the previous boss will have to wait until either a month to challenge again, or until three bosses are dethroned.)

These are just ideas though to make up for the faulty point system.

actually yes. Basically, a boss is someone who is challenged by other members. if He or she is defeated, then they become the new boss challenge, until they are dethroned, and so forth. It was a prototype concept. I probably have enough members to start it up now.

No problem. We already are aware of MattyBrollic's uncanny strength. I wouldn't force you to battle an opponent. I usually give out missions or assassain missions for people who think they can handle it. It's optional. we will get stronger together, and if you feel reluctant to fight him, that's fine.

To be honest, he reminds me of a rival I once had in Gaiaonline. He was unbeatable. But unlike Matty, He was full of himself and started boasting too much. It wasn't even fun fighting him. Matty is friendly and he welcomes the challenge (even if it isn't much of a challenge to him) without boasting to a degrading level. That's why it's so fun fighting him and Reuniclus too.

This site is full of friendly people. so I wouldn't want to cause strife. Truthfully, My reason for making Team lunacy, is for a fun way of making the site more lively and fun for both us and the bounties to battle each other. So don't worry. It may seem like serious business, but it's all in fun. ^_-
