There were plenty of other phones to choose from, but at the time I bought the T239, I wanted a camera phone that ran for no more than $60. I also didn't want to waste money on a camera phone that could easily break in half if I dropped it, hence I went with the T239.

The only way I could get anything over to or from the T239 was via email, but transferring files to and from would eat up a considerable amount of credit, hence I never really transferred MIDI sequences that often. I tried using things like Bluetooth and a USB cable, but it seemed as though the cable only could charge the phone, and the fact that Bluetooth was basically only for headset use. Of course, now that I've got my iPhone 4S, none of that really matters now.

As a general rule with my audio collection, anyone's allowed to alter metadata and add custom album artwork to better suit their media libraries. Hence, no special permissions are needed. To be honest, I wasn't too thrilled about the MIDI synth in that old Samsung phone. I've certainly heard better MIDI synthesizers.
