Yeah, he got one recently. What he did was he bought a broken one and some parts to repair it.

    Why yes, it is.

I turn Wi-Fi off on long car rides where I don't know how long it will be until I get to charge again. I use 3D when I can hold the system comfortably away from my eyes and am a bit awake.

Yeah, I've tried that, both with the 3DS and the original DS. It's fairly interesting and makes me wonder why such screens don't yet work that well outside.

I use 3 during school days when I know I have the charger with me, 5 when outside in the sun, and 1 in bed. If I have no idea when I will get access to an outlet or the charger, I'll stick it on 2.

That's the problem with mine. It has very poor macro, which is evident in the picture.

Nah, for me, it's just as many steps. That one involves finding the cable, and my camera sets next to the phone most times.

*looks at picture, then looks in albums*
Yeah, mine is pretty close to that. It's a bit too sharp, so I make sure to resize it so it doesn't look like that.

OH! You're talking about anti-aliasing. Yeah, the game does have a fair bit of anti-aliasing, especially on the fonts. The original DS has a lot of really pixelated fonts.

Camera motion blur, probably. I tend to take those screenshots in the dark with the camera above the system to reduce glare. Usually, they're not important enough to warrant using the tripod.

There is. It's not that hard, just kind of time consuming, and as the person who gave it to me said not to post it publicly (sharing links privately--I'll PM it to you--is fine), I wouldn't really have much of a reason to have done so besides for personal reasons.

I thought you were asking what in GXSCC was like the DS. I do know about the PCM channels, but I didn't know about the PSG channels. That does make quite a bit of sense. I think some Game Boy style sounds used FM-based triangle waves on a PCM channel, but that would require some actual waveform creation in the game itself.

  88. Cat333Pokémon

    Cat333Pokémon
You are correct. It's basically like an assembler: you send it code, but the code has to be of the correct syntax to work. Using another tool, mid2mml, you can convert MIDIs, but you have to clean them up before they will even work, and you'll have to setup the headers yourself. That doesn't even guarantee the song won't lose synchronization or even import.
