Anyone still playing DPP after all these years?

Now that we have Black 2 and White 2, let's think back for a second and see if you guys still remember these old games. Relatively old speaking.

I don't, unfortunately.

NismoZ December 6, 2012 04:45:44 AM

(oh god I thought you were isbragg for a second)

I actually restarted Platinum about a month ago, though when I restarted SoulSilver not long after that I instantly forgot about it.

Magmaster12 December 6, 2012 05:56:45 AM

Platinum I restart a lot now, but it's been hard for me to replay Diamond ever since I got Platinum.

PureAurorae December 6, 2012 07:28:11 AM

I restarted Plat recently and I play it a little bit.

RotomGuy December 6, 2012 11:32:44 AM

Sure, I remember it well, but I don't play it anymore unless I need to send Pokemon over. When running around Pokemon Centers in SoulSilver, it all looks so 2D and it makes you realise how much it changed.

TurtwigX December 6, 2012 12:05:19 PM

I'm actually gonna replay both Diamond and Platinum (Never played Pearl :P) so's that I can remember what I've been through and how much fun it was. I've already played Diamond 3 times, and Platinum was only once, so I want to do them again back to back (And one of them Nuzlocked.) While not in the thread title, I'm also gonna be restarting HG soon so that I can play it properly, now that I've given up on Black Rayquaza. I rushed through it the first time I played and missed a lot.

Wobbachomp December 6, 2012 12:09:23 PM

Restarted & beat Platinum recently, though D/P I could never touch again.

Cyrus December 6, 2012 12:12:26 PM

I just beat Platinum a few weeks ago, it was the only D/P/Pt game I had not beaten yet. (sad, I know).

I don't plan on replaying it anytime soon though, I actually plan to do more Black 2 soon.

Reuniclus December 6, 2012 12:34:42 PM

I've recently started to replay through Diamond version again. Even though Gen 4 was my least favorite generation, it still is quite a bit of fun to play through. :P

7dewott8 December 6, 2012 06:23:46 PM

ME: Okay I'm going to beat Platinum
ME: *procrasinates*
I've tried but I can't get motivation

Cat333Pokémon December 6, 2012 07:44:14 PM

Like a few others in this therad, I restarted Platinum right before getting Black 2 so I could have something to play, but it was before a busy school week. I have barely touched it since. Not even Sticker Start managed to take much time from it.

I recently restarted Platinum again *u* I'm still sticking with little Piplup too

isbragg December 11, 2012 12:57:25 AM

I'll do the occasional Nuzlocke on Diamond, but that's about it.

Platinum is my personal favorite Pokemon game I do believe. Unfortunately, I don't wish to restart it on the game card, however, since a friend of mine taught me the method of EV training, I'm going to start doing just that on my Platinum and Diamond versions over Winter break~! :3

Quadcentruo December 11, 2012 07:04:19 AM

It's been a little while since I've played Platinum, which is my favorite game to come out of the 4th gen. In fact, I'd say that Platinum is tied for my 2nd favorite Pokémon game, along with Blue version (my favorite being Fire Red). It could be due to nostalgia. The music, the routes, the gyms, they just all fit together perfectly in my opinion and progressing in it felt very satisfying.

Maybe I'll go back to Platinum and restart it one day.

Cat333Pokémon February 28, 2014 10:07:10 PM

If it counts, I've been playing Pearl quite a bit these last few weeks both to go on a nostalgia trip and to figure out which Pokémon I wanted to bring forward to Pokémon X. The Super Contests are quite silly, but they were fun back in the day. My current goal is to get a bunch of ribbons on a particular Blaziken, the one I've had since Sapphire.

I also started a new game on Platinum around last summer, but I wanted to take a break from Pokémon so I wouldn't be bored by the time X and Y came out.

I didn't bring too many video games along with me this semester of college, but the last few days I've been really kicking myself about leaving my Platinum card back at home. Probably going to do a weekend marathon of it over Easter or something.

kakashidragon February 28, 2014 10:36:01 PM

I sometimes play 4th gen. Im planning to start over on my soulsilver again one day. (Probably after the wifi servers are shut off for it)

JDxImpetus March 1, 2014 12:22:11 AM

Well...Besides Platinum (and that's very rarely) not too much.
Since Gen 4 (besides Platinum, HG and SS) bored the heck out of me

TurtwigX March 1, 2014 06:16:19 AM

Now that they're turning off the Wi-Fi I have to live it up in Platinum's Wi-Fi Plaza and relive the good ol' days with my Chimmy and TurtwigX. I frequently visit the Battle Frontier to score some BP and see Dahlia in all her beauty, I really love the Battle Arcade. There's not much else I can do with the Wi-Fi, but I know I'll always have Platinum for (almost) first game nostalgia.

Magmaster12 March 1, 2014 06:43:36 AM

I've been meaning to restart my copy of Platinum while I wait for my DS to be fixed but I can't find it.
