SO yeah this is happening, but it looks pretty cool.


Expect everyone Lego except for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Marvel heroes because they're all owned by Disney.

I like some of the humor lego does sometimes so this should be pretty funny.

SO MUCH YES!

Also for the record, this is actually the 2nd LEGO movie. The first one was Adventures of Clutch Powers.

Don't the multiple Bionicle movies count?

Frankly, most die-hard LEGO fans consider Bionicle to be its own franchise created by the LEGO company, separate from the main building products.

Again, a lot of humor and references to be found for the older audience.

There are also clips featuring main characters: Emmet, Wyldstyle, President Business, Metal Beard, and of course Batman.

Also the next series in the LEGO Collectible Mini-figure line will feature characters from the movie:

Another trailer was released today, being shown like a "behind the scenes" type of thing:



I'm still amused how this movie is part CGI, part actual LEGO in stop-motion. I like all the wacky stuff happening in the background, like the chickens robbing that guy, Abraham Lincoln on his cell-phone and the guy getting water dumped on him. Also Uni-kitty is the most adorable thing ever and Benny reminds me of :spacecore:.

Gonna revive this thread as a reminder that it's out on DVD now so I imagine mostly everyone has seen it.

They have announced a sequel which will come out in May 2017 after a Ninjago movie in September 2016.
