DECEMBER BRAWL TOURNAMENT SIGN-UPS
 

The time has finally come to sign up for this month's Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament! The tournament will take place on the 28th of December at 3 PM EST, and if you wish to participate please take note of the rules below:

1. All characters are permitted.
2. All stages are permitted.
3. All items (except for the Starman, Raygun, Fan, Lightning, and Timer) are permitted.
4. Battles will be 1 vs. 1, 3 stock each, for 8 minutes. Best 2 out of 3.
5. No hacking or glitching.

Easy, no? If you are interested, just post below! Don't forget to be on site at 3 PM on December 28th, or you could make things difficult for all of us. Brackets will be made the day before, so post as quickly as possible.

I'll be in. But I'd like to know what time it is because I'll be returning from a trip on the 28th, and depending on what time it is, I might not make it. But if I can, I'll be there. Just count me as not there if I don't make it, I'll understand.

Thinking about it, whether or not I can participate depends on whether my Wii wants to play nice with the SSBB disc... I haven't had it working in a while (Then again, I haven't tried much :P)

I'd like to join, 2 questions though:
1. Do I need peoples' SSBB codes?
2. Why must I be on the site at 3pm? (I live in EST Zone)

EDIT: Can we change characters whenever we want?

1. It would be kinda hard to Brawl someone who you didn't have the FC to.
2. To check in the tourney and post the results of your battle if you win.
3. Most likely not.

That whole "no hacks" thing.
Would it be cool if I can use this hack that lets me record replays over 3 minutes? =w=

Is there an area where the entrants can exchange codes? A thread perhaps? This way even if we have surprising matchups in the bracket, we're always prepared.

You'll only need to exchange codes with those you are battling, no need to exchange codes with each and every person. You'll get the code on the day of the tournament, it shouldn't take you that long to enter it in your friends list.

Family problems, have to back out. Can't use my Wii for a couple months.

I am going to tentatively say yes, simply because I know you wouldn't use hacks to cheat at all.

Sign-ups close this Sunday people! I am pleased at the number of people that we have for the tournament, and anyone that wants to join should enter as quickly as possible.
