Friend had multiples, so he gave it to me for my Zekrom.

As for me team as of now:

Jaroda [Level 92]: It's lack of versatility is starting to get annoying now...
Celebi [Level 90]: Awesomesauce.
Birijion [Level 90]: I just realized I could teach it X-Scissor. Goodbye Psychic weakness.
Rotom-C [Level 89]: For a Lv.89 Pokemon, it barely has any HP.
Nattorei [Level 87]: Just realized it could learn Poison Jab, so I taught it.
Ludicolo [Level 87]: Very good.

MultiWishMaker November 14, 2010 02:51:30 PM

I've been working on my pokedex recently. Right now all I have to do is finish getting around 70 pokemon from Hoenn, and trade around all of my event pokemon.
I don't think I even have to mention that my team is BEAST!
Daikenki lvl 100
Hahakurimo lvl 100
Ononokusu lvl 100
Roopushin lvl 100
Waruvial lvl 100
Shandera lvl 100

@MWM WTF HOW DID YOU FILL YOUR F***IN POKEDEX SO D*** QUICKLY???

ANyway...
Day... uh... - Exploring a cave :O
Team:
Jaroda [Lvl 57] Pwning everything its super effective against.
Gamageroge [Lvl 56] ^ And i'm training him up because he is my lowest lvl.
Shanderaa [Lvl 60] JUST HIT LVL 60! GO MR CHANDERLIAR
Metagross [Lvl 67] Jaroda's comment minus the "its super effective against"
Reshiram [Lvl 59] Rawr
Rotom(F) [Lvl 63] I choose Freeer because I don't have any ice types.
I found a cave! And i'm exploring it. The trainers in there are rock hard, and they have rock and ground type pokemon, making even more rock hard. You'd think Jaroda and Gamageroge could handle it. But no. THESE POKEMON HAVE DUAL TYPINGS AND SUCH HIGH LEVELS THAT THEY CAN'T CRUSH THEM. Back to the sport domes...

I've just spent like a week trading all of my stuff from R/S to platinum and my stuff from FR/ LG to HG......then spent another 2 days trading it all to White.....

RotomGuy November 17, 2010 09:05:21 AM

I wanna import very badly, but I can't find my Jap Platinum to trade all my HG/SS pokemon to, so I can't import. :(

A few days ago, the same mysterious thing happened. On Wonder Bridge, the same girl randomly disappeared. I'm still confused as to what the heck is going on. And I swear I'm not hallucinating.

Anyways, my Pokemon are currently Lv.90 or above, excpet Ludicolo and Nattorei, which are Lv.89.

2. Indeed. Not by that much, actually. Only by one level. :P

Day... uh... 2... - SPORT DOMEZ TRAINING
Team: No updates, except Jaroda and Rotom levelled up.

Im training here so I can explore the cave without being bombarded with rock ha- *shot. Im glad I choose Freezer rotom because a majority of the pokemon i see now are dragon type.

Ningamer November 17, 2010 10:35:18 PM

I've been playing around with Dream World over the past few days, and got myself an event Arceus, event Croagunk, Hydration Vaporeon, Hoppip, Bellsprout and a couple of others. It's actually pretty nifty! :3

Using that Arceus (After changing it's HIDEOUS moveset) I blasted through the Pokémon League. Arceus is level 100. It's so cheap :faec:

AnathemA November 17, 2010 11:42:46 PM

Currently chasing around to find my Landlos Torneos. Other than that, I'm battling random trainers in an attempt to bring my currently 50ish pokemon up to 70, so i can train on the league again.

You're chasing Landlos? That can't be right...you mean Torneos or Voltros? Or if you have Torneos and Voltros already, then you gotta go to Fertility Shrine.

My Pokemon aren't getting leveled up much by the E4, but at least all my Pokemon are Lv.90 and above now.

MultiWishMaker November 18, 2010 03:14:39 PM

I pretty much finished everything in the game exept catching the event pokemon. Besides that I have a complete Pokedex!!!

Ooh, yes! Torneos, thats what I meant! They all sound the same to me :/

In other news, no progress today on my team training. Hopefully I can start this weekend.

Well, that's because it doesn't happen every time. It just happened at the most random time. I didn't even see her the first 10 times I crossed the bridge. o.o

Team as of now:

Jaroda [Level 97]: Almost there!
Celebi [Level 95]: :D
Birijion [Level 95]: :)
Rotom-C [Level 94]: Still doesn't have that much HP.
Nattorei [Level 92]: Thumbs up.
Ludicolo [Level 92]: ;)

EDIT 2: I learned the secret of the disappearing girl! According to Bulbapedia:

"During certain occasions, the spirit of a deceased young girl will be standing on the bridge, and will disappear if the player walks towards her. An old lady in the gatehouse to the east of the bridge will explain the young girl used to play around the area before the bridge was built."

Thus ends the mystery!

EDIT: Team update!

Jaroda [Level 100]
Celebi [Level 100]
Birijion [Level 99]
Rotom-C [Level 98]
Nattorei [Level 96]
Ludicolo [Level 96]

Team:

Jaroda [Level 100]

Rotom-C [Level 100]
Nattorei [Level 99]
Ludicolo [Level 99]

Turtwig November 29, 2010 04:02:17 PM

So far I've evolved all my Pokemon including my Shinx from Dreamworld. I have currently defeated the 7th gym leader.

GrassPokemonFTW November 29, 2010 04:43:38 PM

Joy! I've gotten this team to Level 100:

Jaroda [Level 100]: Taught it some new moves, includng Toxic and Aerial Ace.
Celebi [Level 100]: No new moves, but it doesn't need any! Celebi is BEAST!
Birijion [Level 100]: Taught it Protect. (seems appropriate for a Musketeer Pokemon)
Rotom-C [Level 100]: Taught it...something I can't remember right now. Also I just realized it knew Substitute.
Nattorei [Level 100]: No new moves.
Ludicolo [Level 100]: Also no new moves.

Now, I begin my quest to capture all of the Grass Pokemon and train them to Lv.100!

New Team to train:

Tropius [Level 65]: Finally! I can FLY!
Exeggutor [Level 63]: Glad to bring him back. It's been a while.
Tangrowth [Level 51]: Finally he can get some more experience.
Erufuun [Level 52]: Yaaaaay! My little sheep! ^o^
Morobareru [Level 50]: Mr.Electrode Imposter has returned.
Hahakomori [Level 45]: Felt like bringing her back for whatever reason. Probably since it was one of the first Pokemon I caught. :P

JC December 1, 2010 10:08:33 AM

I'm Basically Training a team that can beat the champion right now, they all need to be a balanced level, I think at least at 80 or 85 I wouldn't know, I'm keeping my nose out of his team's levels and wanting it to be a surprise.

I played around on the Dream World a bit. I bought a table! I also traded a few Pokémon with Cat to fill up my Pokédex!

Now its a Masquerain.

Hopped on the Dream World again. Over the last couple days, I picked up an Arceus, Lickitung, Nidoran M, Shinx, Doduo, and Mareep.

And then I started buying furniture, but with a little problem. Spot the flaw.

AnathemA December 11, 2010 12:52:59 AM

Still struggling to level up my team. Decided to give training another try last night, was going smoothly till I stumbled into Cynthia's house and got my arse handed to me.

Currently looking forward to catching Reshiram.

Right now I'm in the training cave and I'm to lazy to continue.

I just bred a Zorua and got lot's of Zorua eggs and I've evolved my original Zorua to a Zoruark which is now currently lvl 49.

Cat333Pokémon January 10, 2011 11:23:57 PM

Got me a Zoroark~ ♥ Woohoo, thanks for the Japanese beasts, Yoshi~!

Words to the wise:
AMERICAN SHINY RAIKOU DOES NOT WORK IN JAPANESE POKÉMON BLACK/WHITE.

RotomGuy January 11, 2011 09:27:56 AM

Picked up the event egg (late) and got a Yanappu. May do some tweaking, may not.

GrassPokemonFTW January 11, 2011 02:27:21 PM

In a (near futile) attempt to catch all the Grass Pokemon in the game, I have begun my search for 'em all. This should be hard. D:

At least I got the two hardest (Celebi and Grass Arceus) out of the way.

JC January 11, 2011 06:58:45 PM

Got a Zorua~ Thanks Kitty~

AnathemA January 19, 2011 03:53:31 AM

Got Torneos a few days back, trained it to level 62 and I can finally (barely) defeat Shikimi and Renbuu in their rematches.

Today I evolved my pupitar, its 57 now, gonna stop at 62 and try going for Giima or Catilin this time.

Ningamer March 4, 2011 03:39:01 AM

My copy arrived today! I'm only in Route 1 at the moment, I've levelled my Tepig (Nicknamed Flammaboar) up to level 8, and I'm trying to catch and train all the Pokémon on Route 1 now.

I now have a Patrat (Nicknamed Chipbonk) at level 2, and a Lillipup (Nicknamed Roargy) at level 3. I'm gonna train them both to level 5 before going to the next town!

Edit:
I'm currently searching around the Dreamyard (Abandoned Lot of Dreams), training my Pokémon before the first Gym. My team currently consists of:
Flammaboar/Tepig - Level 10 :498t:
Roargy/Lillipup - Level 9
Darkat/Purrloin - Level 9
Chipbonk/Patrat - Level 8

EDIT:
Treape/Pansage - Level 10

EDIT II:
Cress (The first gym's water-type leader) had an insane amount of luck. Multiple critical hits, flinches, AND his Lillipup used Pickup mid-battle to heal itself. Oh, and it's got a move that makes it rather powerful... Time to train up and try again!

EDIT III:
After finally defeating the beast that is his Lillipup, his Panpour was fairly easy... And I finally got my first badge! The Trio Badge and TM 83 (Work Up) are now mine!

After that hell of a battle, my Pokémon are:
Flammaboar/Tepig - Level 11 :498t:
Roargy/Lillipup - Level 10
Darkat/Purrloin - Level 10
Chipbonk/Patrat - Level 9
Treape/Pansage - Level 11

i have a snivy who is lv 5

SergeiDragunov March 6, 2011 02:25:42 AM

For those of you with the game, how necessary is Fly? If Unova is easy to navigate I think I'm gonna use Chandeluere or Gothitelle but if it's a hard place to get from one place to another I figure Siliglyph is the way to go.

Ningamer March 6, 2011 03:38:54 AM

Wow, I've done a lot since I last updated... Basically, I finished the story, with a Zekrom, an Emboar, an Unfezant, a Gurdurr, a Durant and a Celebi. The last two battles are seriously tough, but I do recommend you go into them with your Pokémon slightly under-levelled, it makes the game SO much more fun! Right now I'm in the process of completing my National Pokédex, I've got around 200 Pokémon now.

AnathemA March 6, 2011 06:09:54 AM

Siliglyph is a godsend in battles IMO. Saved my ass many times in my playthrough of Japanese Black. Light Screen - Reflect - Sky Attack/Fly - Psychic. The early-battle barrier setups are lifesavers. As Psychic and Flying type attacks are very versatile, the attacks of your choice can dish out some moderate to major damage before it goes down, or you switch it out.

Anyway, on topic...

Got my English White today!

Day One:
Started in Autumn with Snivy. Got the Trio Badge. Snivy is now level 15. I Also got a Panpour (Lv. 12), Purrloin (Lv.8 - In training) and a Patrat (Cut HM Slave).

Might head off to Lenora later if I can finish my work in time.

Magmaster12 March 6, 2011 06:39:08 AM

Right I'm trying really hard to find Drillbur in Wellspring Cave.

I had to go through 6 gems to find her.

Cat333Pokémon March 6, 2011 09:19:45 AM

I've got my Oshawott, and together we're gonna rule the world!! Okay, just kidding.

Oh, and a warning for anyone browsing the Pokémon.com site to make sure they have an account for the Global Link, expect a lot of 503 Server Busy errors.

Yoshi648 March 6, 2011 09:53:54 AM

Went to GameStop. After waiting 10 minutes in line (why do people who need to make a big deal out of everything ALWAYS have to be at the front of the line?) I finally got my copy of Pokémon Black. While I was waiting at GameStop there were about 10 people in front of me and about another 20 or so behind me when I left.

Started the game, got my Tepig and just entered the first gym. This time I'm actually going to try something crazy. Normally I'm one of those "Put all training into starter" people, but this time I am actually *gasp* TRAINING ALL MY POKEMON EVENLY (crazy I know).

Edit:
Alright, I am now in Nacrene City (Darn, I was hoping to see a train to LEGO-atize but just empty tracks). I just fought N and am getting ready for the second gym. Here is my team as of now:
Tepig (F) - Lv 16 - Tackle, Defense Curl, Ember, and Flame Charge
Blitzle (M) - Lv 14 - Quick Attack, Tail Whip, Charge, and Shock Wave
Lillipup (F) - Lv 13 - Leer, Tackle, Odor Sleuth, and Bite
Patrat (F) - Lv 12 - Tackle, Cut, Bite, and Bide
Pidove (F) - Lv 10 - Gust, Growl, and Leer

Leaftail March 6, 2011 10:23:17 AM

Well, when I went to Gamestop today, there was no line, but I saw a couple people with games/strategy guides scattered across the mall. I bought Black, and two Whites for my brothers (they're gonna pay me back when they get the money). I also bought the guide for like 15 bucks, and a screen cleaning cloth and two new styluses, bringing my total to ~$105. Now I'm almost broke...

ANYWAYS. I just beat the first gym leader, Cilan. My team:

Jack (Oshawott♂)
Level 11
Ability: Torrent
- Cut
- Water Gun
- Tail Whip
- Water Sport

Duke (Lillipup♂)
Level 14
Ability: Vital Spirit
- Work Up
- Tackle
- Bite
- Helping Hand

I didn't want to get Lillipup initially, but he was sooooo cute!! I just had to catch him!! :> I actually ended up using him more than my starter, and he was a great help against Cilan.
I was planning on using an HM slave and naming him Intern, but I decided not to use HM slaves in my first playthrough.
Even though I was spoiled out the wazoo in the past few months, this game is really fun, way better than I thought it would be.
THE GRAPHICS ARE FRIGGING AMAZING, especially the opening. I like Game Freak's new logo and the 3D Reshiram model.

I tried the same thing. I ended up training three Pokémon, though, and by the Elite 4 I was pretty underlevelled. But that underlevelment made it so much more fun!

SK March 6, 2011 11:53:50 AM

I started the game.. And got a Tepig.. And accidentally nicknamed it (ffffuuuu)... And saved the game after I learned how to catch Pokemon for the 200th time. :3

But I'm so addicted to Minecraft that I'ma go play it now.

Day 1

Once I reached my house gladly, I found out that Professor Juniper has sent me a present, which contained three Pokéballs. Cheren and Bianca arrived to choose their starter. I chose Tepig, while Bianca chose Snivy and Cheren chose Oshawott. I battled and won both of them. It was a piece of cake. I also visited the professor to get my Pokédex and saw her teaching me how to catch a Pokémon. Now that we are done with the preliminaries, and I got the items needed from my mother, I am ready to go ahead through Route 1!

SergeiDragunov March 7, 2011 04:04:37 PM

THISGAMEISAMAZINGOMG.

But seriously. I've been glued to my DS for 2 days straight. I now have 7 badges and my current team is:

Saigo (Samurott) lv41
Pulverizer (Gigalith) lv40
Asbestos (Garbodor) lv40
Notorious (Scrafty) lv41
Overlord (Beheeyem) lv42

The last spot is reserved for Hydreigon, which I'm hoping to get soon.

This game is great. Graphics are stunning, the story is much deeper than previous titles, and... Scraggy. Scraggy is amazing.

Ditto616 March 7, 2011 04:34:19 PM

I just traded with Lite, so that he could get a Solosis early. Even though he's playing White as well, I thought I would help.
I just got into Driftveil and had my first triple battle
Servine Lv. 30
Panpour Lv. 27
Zebstrika Lv. 28
Leipard Lv. 26
Tranquill Lv. 26
Gurdurr Lv. 26

I hope to trade with Kaz later today to evolve my Gurdurr, and in the process help him evolve some things.

Day 2

I headed through Route 1, trained my Tepig and caught all what appeared in front of me. When I reached Accumula Town, I battled a strange trainer called N after listening to some guys called Team Plasma. Of course, after roaming around the city, I continued my journey to Striaton City. This city looked really great, and the people there were really nice that one of them gave me a Pansage. After training it for a while, I stepped into the gym and fought my way through until I reached the three gym leaders. Cilan, the water gym leader, battled with me. My Tepig burned his Lillipup with its Ember, while my Pansage defeated his Panpour with Vine Whip. Now that I have the trio badge, I am going for a rest with my team consisiting of:
~Tepig, lv14
~Pansage, lv13

Training Deino is the hardest thing I've ever done in the history of Pokemon.

[TRDRS]PokeTrader March 8, 2011 07:25:04 AM

I beat the game last night at 1:37 AM! Dang, this game was easy!

Shadow March 8, 2011 09:48:38 AM

Started my new Pokémon journey today by choosing Oshawott, which turned out to have a Hasty nature. Won in the battles against Cheren and Bianca, got the Pokédex from Professor Juniper, then headed to Accumula Town. Caught a Patrat and a Lillipup on Route 1. Encountered Team Plasma and battled N, then continued to Route 2. Caught a Purrloin, then reached Striaton City. Battled Cheren in the school, healed my Pokémon in the PokéCentre then saved my progress.

GrassPokemonFTW March 8, 2011 10:11:39 AM

And so, the quest to catch all the Grass Pokemon and raise them to Lv.100 continues. After running around Abundant Forest for what seemed to be an eternity, I finally found a Lilligant and caught it~! Yay~!

SergeiDragunov March 8, 2011 11:52:30 AM

Well I had to give up on Deino. It was just too weak and slow to level up. I've replaced it with a Klang named G-Force, who is now level 40.

EDIT: Beat the game :D

Spoilers, I guess? For anyone who doesn't know the end already

I about pooped myself when all the gym leaders came up against the 7 Sages. Clay is my favorite Gym Leader ever, so when he came up I was like HECK YES CLAY. Then I saw Elesa and the others, but mainly Elesa and I was like AWWWWW YEAH. So yeah.

I don't entirely understand the thing with the playroom in Plasma Castle. If someone could elaborate, that'd be swell.

The cutscenes were AMAZING, it looked like it could be on a full-size console even. Reshiram and Zekrom were practically life-like. I caught Zekrom pretty easily, after about 4 Ultra Balls. My Gigalith weakened it with Bulldoze and then my Klang ended up walling it until I caught it.

I chose not to use Zekrom against N, because I wanted the challenge, and I like the feeling of using those 6 that I went through the game with. Makes it feel more epic. Gigalith killed Reshiram with ease (Rock Slide FTW), and the battle went uphill from there. Scrafty mopped the floor with him until he was taken out by Vanilluxe, who was quickly dispatched by Klang. That may not seem significant, but my Klang was actually being Exp Shared, and was lv44 when this happened. I just like the fact that my lv44 unevolved Pokemon took out a lv50 fully evolved Pokemon, I guess.

Ghetsis was a nightmare. Cofagrigus screwed over my Scrafty Sweep thanks to Mummy, and it ended up costing me a few Pokemon (as well as some Max Revives). Hydreigon was tough, but Garbodor Sludge Bombed it to near death, and Samurott finished it off with Aqua Jet. Seismitoad was a bugger too, but Samurott finished it off like a boss. Klang evolved after the battle, and I couldn't have been happier.

And also, lol @ Looker.

I'm debating whether to start Black version now or to continue White and hunt for Legendaries.

Shiny March 8, 2011 05:00:37 PM

Well, just started the game yesterday. I'm barely on the second gym leader. I don't like to rush through the stories, I like to take my time and raise my team. Nothing interesting has happened except Oshawott evolving and me catching Shiny Blitzle.
I've decided to try and have my Pokemon's levels being close together. I'm having second doubts about this. I might just ditch em and train up Pansear, Dewott, and Blitzle. :V

Current team is:
Lillipup level 14
Pansear Level 14
Dewott Level 18
Blitzle Level 13
Timburr Level 14
Patrat Level 12

Yoshi648 March 8, 2011 06:28:46 PM

Just beat the fourth gym in Nimbasa City (yeah, sorry I am actually trying to ENJOY the game instead of rushing through it as quickly as possible) and am getting ready to head out on Route 5. My team is now as follows:

Pignite(F) - Lv 32 - Strength, Arm Thrust, Ember, and Flame Charge
Blitzle (M) - Lv 25 - Quick Attack, Thunder Wave, Flame Charge, and Spark
Sandile (M) - Lv 24 - Mud-Slap, Cut, Sand Tomb, and Assurance
Herdier (F) - Lv 17 - Take Down, Tackle, Odor Sleuth, and Bite
Pidove (F) - Lv 14 - Gust, Growl, Leer, and Quick Attack

PokeDex - 46 Seen, 16 Owned
Total Game Time: 10:40

Meanwhile amidst all this, the top screen of my DS started acting wonky. Any movement to the top half/hinge causes the top screen to randomly flicker. So until this weekend when I have time to take it apart to see what's up, I am using my sister's DS Lite (man the buttons feel so cramped in comparison to my DS Phat).

Ditto616 March 8, 2011 07:25:05 PM

Beat the Sixth Gym today. I liked the cannon gimmick that was in there. It was interesting. Skyla was a cakewalk with Zebstrika though. Swept her real good. Caught a few new Pokémon today, and traded a Frillish to Kaz because you don't get surf until after the sixth gym.
TEAM:
Conkeldurr Lv. 38
Serperior Lv. 40
Liepard Lv. 37
Zebstrika Lv. 38
Unfezant Lv. 37
Simipour Lv. 38

Shadow March 9, 2011 07:32:02 AM

I resumed my journey today by entering the Dreamyard. There, I received a much-needed Pansear for my first gym battle against Cilan. He wasn't very tough, but it was definitely a challenging battle. After receiving the Trio Badge and TM Work Up (which I taught to Pansear), I got HM Cut from Professor Fennel. Then I also faced Team Plasma in the Dream World for saving Munna, which subsequently resulted in Professor Fennel giving me the C-Gear. Caught many new Pokémon along the way, including Pidove, Munna, Blitzle and Audino. Stopped where I needed to retrieve the stolen Pokémon from Team Plasma on Route 3. My current team members are:

Oshawott, Lv. 15
Pansear, Lv. 14
Patrat, Lv 11
Pidove, Lv. 11
Munna, Lv 10
Lillipup, Lv. 9

Day 3

I got outside the gym to find Fennel outside. I went with her and talked about Munna and its ability. Thus, I headed to the Dreamyard, where I saved Munna from Team Plasma. After all the hassle, I got the C-Gear from Fennel and then continued my journey to Route 3. On my way, it turned out that Team Plasma stole some Pokémon from a young girl. With the help of Cheren, I saved the Pokémon. It was surely a troublesome battle, but while I was battling, my Tepig evolved to Pignite! After that, I continued my way through Route 3, facing some wild double battles. I just stopped and camped on the entrance of the next city.

MultiWishMaker March 9, 2011 11:12:39 AM

I've decided to come up for air finally! :P

I got B/W on Sunday and haven't taken my eyes off of them yet. I did do a naughty thing though, I took the game out of my White case and took it to Gamestop to get a free White version so now I have two Whites and a Black.
Sorry Gamestop!! Anyway....
BLACK
Just beat Elesa she wasn't that tough but slightly annoying, Took a nice ride with N then merked him like there's no tomorrow! While I started to take my leave to the next city I decided to go to the Pokemon musical which was pretty fun, after that Bianca had a heartfelt conversation with her father...
Now I'm training up my team!

Samurott lvl 40
Whimsicott lvl 38
Krokorok lvl 38

I'm still waiting for the rest of my team to come up.

SeaMonkey (Simipour) - Lv 43
MrTweetums (Unfezant) - Lv 45
Superkowz (Munna) - Lv 45
Rocky (Gigalith) - Lv 44
Throh (Throh) - Lv 44
Leafile (Serperior) - Lv 44

Currently grinding to get everyone at level 45 before going into Victory Road.

SergeiDragunov March 9, 2011 04:15:08 PM

Started Black Version today. Currently in Castelia City doing some level grinding before I face the gym.

Current Team:
Velia (Servine ♀) lv19
Diesel (Drilbur ♂) lv19
Stratos (Pidove ♂) lv18
Smasher (Timburr ♂) lv19

My current plan is to fill the last two slots with Vanillite and Gothita.

Leaftail March 9, 2011 04:36:30 PM

I just beat Clay and I'm heading to Chargestone Cave. I'm most likely going to catch a Ferroseed, even though that will give me three weaknesses to fighting. Or... maybe I can get a Drilbur... or Joltik... or Klink... This is gonna be a tough decision...

Jack (Dewott♂), level 30
Duke (Herdier♂), level 30
Mandy (Gigalith♀), level 30
Kevin (Conkeldurr♂), level 30
Dawn (Yamask♀), level 30

I decided on Joltik. Named it Sparky.

Three gym leaders beaten in White, and I've got my Zorua. Some underleveled 'mons, but Dewott and Pansear seemed to work out nicely.

[TRDRS]PokeTrader March 10, 2011 06:35:47 AM

I beat the game Tuesday and am currently in White Forest catching some previous Gen Pokemon. Then I am going to head of east to catch Landorus, then Kyurem, then go try to catch Thundurus.

Day 4

It was such a busy day. I entered Nacrene City and roamed around, visiting the old houses. After that, I went into the museum and solved the puzzle there, to find the gym leader waiting for me. Lenora wasn't really hard to beat, but she successfully defeated my Tympole that I added to my team while training for the gym battle. However, my Pignite was strong enough to knock out her team. Once I was done, my team was marked as:
~Pignite, lv 21
~Pansage, lv 18
~Tympole, lv 18
When I was done, a sudden break into the museum occurred by Team Plasma! They stole a dragon skull that was kept as a fossil! They took it and escaped to Pinwheel Forest. Along with Lenora and Burgh, Castelia's gym leader, I chased those grunts in the forest until I retrieved the skull. It was a really tiring job, so right now, I am resting in Nacrene's PokéCenter, to continue my journey tomorrow.

RotomGuy March 10, 2011 09:33:24 AM

FINALLY GOT THE GAME!
Been so busy playing it, I haven't posted here. So i'll post 2 entries.

Day 1 - Meeting Leaf
Started the game at last! Chose Snivy again, love him so much :D
Caught no pokemon, so I lost our rival competition. Lol, I didn't even try. :) Anyway, continued on and watched Plasma's speech, beat N with no trouble, and once again advanced. I obtained my Panour at the Dreamward, but I don't plan on using it. Anyway, it was time to battle Chili! Lost twice on him, then succeeded using Growth a number of times. Anyway, my team as of now:
Team:
Snivy - Lvl 14 - Leaf

PC:
Panpour - Lvl 10 - Panpo

Day 2 - Welcoming Splash
After beating Chili, I continued to the school and challenged some of kids. I won against all of them, and while winning, my Snivy turned into Servine! Rescued the little kidies pokemon from Team Plasma, and filled up my pokedex and trained a bitby beating the Woobat and Roggenrola (Love that name). Now i'm at the next town, I caught a Tympole. Now challenging the gym. Also, I say some shaky grass and got an Audion (I think that's how you spell it).
Team:
Servine - Lvl 20 - Leaf
Tympole - Lvl 13 - Splash

PC:
Panpour
Audion

SergeiDragunov March 10, 2011 12:36:54 PM

Currently in Driftveil city for Black, about to head for the Gym.

Current Team:

Stratos (Tranquill ♂) lv27
Smasher (Gurdurr♂) lv28
Siren (Gothita ♀) lv28
Diesel (Drilbur ♂) lv29
Haagendazs (Vanillite ♂) lv28

My goal for the night is to beat Clay and to evolve Drilbur and Gothita.

Cool nickname bro.

I just arrived in Icirrus City. I recently taught Conkeldurr DynamicPunch, and I seriously regret it, so I'll have to either use my Heart Scale to make it relearn Low Kick or wait until I find a better Fighting type move. I also bought Thunder to teach my Galvantula (:D).

My team:
Jack (Samurott♂), level 39
Duke (Stoutland♂), level 38
Mandy (Gigalith♀), level 38
Kevin (Conkeldurr♂), level 38
Dawn (Cofagrigus♀), level 38

Shiny March 10, 2011 03:49:23 PM

Currently in Pinwheel Forest battling all the Plasma Grunts. It's tiring when your Pokemon have crappy defense and you have to heal them after every battle. Seriously, my only Pokemon with good stats are Dewott and Herdier, and they get attacked a lot.

Anyways, current team is:
Icee - Dewott Level 21
Habanero - Pansear Level 17
Snoop Dogg - Herdier Level 17
Sparkles - Shiny Blitzle Level; 17
Bugs - Venipede Level 18
Agua - Panpour Level 15

SergeiDragunov March 10, 2011 06:58:56 PM

Well I met my goal for the night and then some. Did some level grinding, made it through Chargestone Cave and I'm getting ready to fight Skyla tomorrow. Current team:

Velia (Servine) lv32
Stratos (Unfezant) lv32
Diesel (Excadrill) lv32
Smasher (Gurdurr) lv32
Siren (Gothorita) lv32
Haagendazs (Vanillite) lv33

Vanillite is kinda tough to train. Thankfully I have the Lucky Egg to help out and I'll be using it a lot in the Mistralton Gym. I'm probably gonna evolve Gurdurr tomorrow, when he gets to the mid/late 30s.

Goals for Tomorrow: Get to Iccirus City. Evolve Gurdurr, Servine, and Vanillite.

Yoshi648 March 10, 2011 07:49:51 PM

Transferred over my legendary beasts + Celebii. I got Zorua, and I'll go get Zoroark later. Beat the fifth gym in Mistralton and am currently standing right outside Twist Mountain. Current team:

Emboar(F) - Lv 42 - Strength, Arm Thrust, Ember, and Flame Charge
Zebstrika(M) - Lv 35 - Quick Attack, Thunder Wave, Stomp, and Spark
Krokorok(M) - Lv 34 - Crunch, Cut, Sand Tomb, and Assurance
Herdier (F) - Lv 30 - Take Down, Tackle, Crunch, and Surf (LOLWUT SURFING DOG!?)
Tranquil(F) - Lv 30 - Fly, Air Cutter, Roost, and Quick Attack

PokeDex - 84 Seen, 28 Owned
Total Game Time: 17:39

Along with that Cat and I started messing around with the Entralink and the C-Gear. We've had a few times where we will randomly turn on C-Gear on our college campus and find about 5-8 other people also using it.

RotomGuy March 10, 2011 09:54:22 PM

Day 3 - Burgh + Me = No Plasma
Beat Lenora's gym (much easier in English) and then the husband started ranting about Team Plasma. They stole the skull! Which pokemon is that anyway? So me and Burgh trail them into Pinwheel Forest. I tell you, the Sewaddle where actually a pain. My team currently has a weakness to Grass and Bug type pokemon. And why do I never get to go the short way? Anyway, we scooted Team Plasma to Castelia City where they caused more trouble. Then it was time to beat Burgh. I wish it would let me in the desert so I can get the fossil. It would help me alot there.
Team:
Servine - Leaf - Lvl 23
Tympole - Splash - Lvl 22

PC:
Panpour

.name//Technomancer March 11, 2011 12:30:33 AM

I uh.

Started with a Tepig. Not really using it.

My team is made up of a female Roggenrola, a female Timburr, a female Venipede, a female Leipard, and a female Petilil I'm mostly using for the Grass advantage.

They're all about level twenty.

I can see the desert from the Castelia rooftops.

...

Do want Cofagrigus. She'll end up being my main fighter. Can't wait. <3

GrassPokemonFTW March 11, 2011 06:29:28 AM

Unfortunately, my Pokemon are getting to a tough point in their training where wild Pokemon are too easy for them to gain good EXP from, and the trainers in the Nimbasa City Sports Domes are too difficult forme to gain EXP from them. Maractus is probably the closest thing I've got to bypassing that part of the training.

Pokemon on TeamDetails
Maractus [Level 62]Moves: Petal Dance, Sucker Punch, Pin Missle, Acupressure. It's got a respectable Sp.Atk, so I can't complain, but it's not so great Defenses and Speed aren't helping either. D:
Whimsicott [Level 58]Moves: Windstorm, Giga Drain, Shadow Ball, Synthesis. I really should get rid of that Synthesis, since I already have Giga Drain.
Amoongus [Level 55]Moves: Solarbeam, Sludge Bomb, Toxic, Faint Attack. Probably the worst victim of my problem so far, since he's (or she, rather, it's a female) too slow to outrun anything. 45 Speed at this point is not very good.
Sawsbuck [Level 54]Moves: Horn Leech, Leech Seed, Jump Kick, Double-Edge. He doesn't seem to be having much of a problem so far, so I guess I can't complain.
Lilligant [Level 53]Moves: Petal Dance, Substitute, Teeter Dance, Quiver Dance. I sense a lack of better moves, but I suppose Lilligant's immunity to confusion makes up for having Petal Dance as its only move.
Leavanny [Level 51]Moves: Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Aerial Ace, Swords Dance. Not bad, especially with a respectable Attack stat. And nice Speed. Otherwise...meh.

SergeiDragunov March 11, 2011 12:33:17 PM

Just whipped Brycen. Seriously, between having a Vanillish with Flash Cannon, an Excadrill, and a Conkeldurr, he didn't even stand a chance. It was murder. The Lucky Egg is helping a TON in my training. I absolutely love the fact that you always get it in this game.

I just arrived in Castelia... Will post my team later when I play. There will also be a huge update when I come back from vacation. :P

Shadow March 11, 2011 09:25:52 PM

After entering Wellspring Cave, I battled a couple of Plasma grunts with Cheren, then caught Woobat and Roggenrola. I made my way into Nacrene City after battling trainers along the way; I explored the city's houses until I reached the area before Pinwheel Forest, where I got TM Rock Smash (and taught it to a couple of my team members). Over there, my Oshawott learned the amazing move Razor Shell and then evolved to Dewott! The Pokémon battles were quite troublesome over there, but I managed to catch a Timburr, Tympole and Sawk in the wild. I did not enter Pinwheel Forest after that, but I rearranged my team for the gym battle ahead of me. I saved my progress and paused outside Nacrene's Pokécentre.

RotomGuy March 12, 2011 12:41:02 AM

Day 4 - Back from teh dead.
After beating Plasma, I continued on to the city of Castelia. Not gonna attempt Victini until I have Ultra Balls. Anyway, I must say, Burgh was TOUGH. I had to get 20 Super Potions. But once again, Growth saves the day. I'm not usually one for stat raising moves, but this might be an exception. Then I advanced into the desert. During the battle with Cheren, Tympole evoled into Palpitoad! Caught a Sigilyph for the heck of it, and went into the ruins. Picked the Plume Fossil, ran ALL the way back to Necrene, and obtained my Archen. Gee, I wish I could of done that before Burgh. Rock and Flying would of helped alot. Then rescued the Day-Care man, saw the argument between Bianca and her father, then went and battled N. Now, let's beat Elesa!

Day 5

Going through Pinwheel Forest again wasn't as hard, since I went through the simple road. However, there were few trainers whom I battled with. It was a good way to gain some experience points. As I exited the forest, I found myself facing a very huge tower: Sky Arrow Bridge! I quickly ran all the way across this bridge. The view was amazing, seeing all those cars and trucks beneath me. Yet, it took me a lot of time crossing that bridge! And my feet became sore! When I reached Castelia City, I forgot all of my pain. My jaws dropped due to astonishment! That city was awesome! All buildings were huge and the city itself was more of a maze. It me hours to navigate through it and search it all. I was really surprised. I never saw such a thing back in Sinnoh... When I was done searching, I prepared myself to enter Castelia's gym, but Burgh apologized informing me that Team Plasma are causing trouble... again. I hurried with him to find out that Bianca and her Munna were the victims! She was really sad, but luckily, a strange and a hyperactive girl was comforting Bianca as a friend. She looked kind. Enraged, I chased Team Plasma along with Burgh to finally find their hideout. Both of us were able to defeat the three grunts and then we took Munna back from Ghetsis. When that was all done, and after taking a rest, I went at night to battle Burgh. As I entered the gym, I used the Leaf Stone I got from a man before, evolving my Pansage to Simisage. That Simisage was able to defeat two of Burgh's team to finally lose against the third, Leavanny. However, Pignite got rid of it easily. It was an easy battle overall. After sleeping the whole night, I suddenly woke up in the middle of the dark night, to know that a strange black boat was seen sailing to a nearby island. Worried, I head to the port to find a man who agreed to take me to the Liberty Garden with my Liberty Pass. It was a short trip, but when I reached the small island, I found Team Plasma there! They were the owners of that black boat, as I had expected. After balling numbers of grunts, I accessed the lighthouse to find a strange Pokémon waiting there. One of the grunts told me that it is called Victini, a mythical Pokémon. It was kept in this lighthouse for 300 years and they wanted to free it. Sensing the amount of energy that radiated from it, I decided to try and capture it. It was surely a hard thing, but after a lot of tries, I successfully captured it with a Great Ball. By the time I was done, Professor Juniper showed up with many policemen. They captured the Team Plasma grunts and went away, while I returned to Castelia City with my first legendary Pokémon. After that, I went to sleep.

RotomGuy March 12, 2011 05:40:56 AM

Day 5 - Back again to Pinwheel Forest
I decided I might need some help with Elesa, and with the opinoins of some friends, I ran ALL the way back to Pinwheel Forest to catch a Venipede. I trained the fella up a bit, then challenged Elesa's gym. The Blitzle didn't stand a chance against Splash, and Emolga were taken down by Arch. Then, it was time to battle Elesa! The two Emolga were a tad tough, but Zebrika went down with ease. Then we went to the drawbridge, trained my Venipede on Cheren and then we met Alder, the Campion! He drilled Cheren about some stuff, then we got Elesa to get Clay to open the drawbridge. While walking across the bridge, several strange wings fell from the sky (Muscle Wing, lolwut), it turned out they were coming from a Ducklett. Venipede accidently defeated it, when I planned on catching it. Oh well. We went to Driftveil town and we met Clay. He didn't seem to friendly, but he told us that Team Plasma were causing havoc. I went to find them, and battled a few trainers on the way. One of the fights caused my Venipede to evolve into Whirlipede!

I beat Drayden. God, he is the easiest 8th gym leader ever. IIRC, none of my Pokemon fainted. That Druddigon was unexpectedly annoying, though.

I caught a Pawniard, thinking it would be a great Pokemon. But it sucks. What idiot made it evolve at level 52?! It might not even evolve until after I beat the Elite Four!

Day 6

Early in the morning, I jumped out of bed and ran all the way through the narrow streets of Castelia City to reach the entrance of Route 4. As I was there talking to the receptionist, Bianca appeared and had a battle with me. She was stronger than before, but Tympole was great in knocking out her team. As the battle ended, Tympole evolved to Palpitoad! Bianca went back to Castelia while I continued my way through Route 4. I met with Cheren, and as we were talking to each other, we got a call from Professor Juniper. We hurried all the way to the exit to Route 4 and met her there. When we were done, I went back and trained in Route 4. I also headed to the Desert Resort, where I spent a lot of time battling and catching new Pokémon. One of these Pokémon was a Yamask, which I chose as a team member. I continued training until my four membered team was prepared. After that, I went all the way through to Nimbasa City. It was yet another interesting city! It had a lot of amusing places. However, my joy was interrupted with two Team Plasma grunts who wanted to steal an old man's Pokémon. Defeating them, I chased them to the amusement park where I was confronted by N. We had a talk, in which he revealed to me that he is the king of Team Plasma. After that, he battled me to successfully allow his grunts to escape. I didn't allow that to disturb me though, but continued visiting the different spots of this city. I tried the Musical Concert twice and went into the two stadiums, where I battled few sportsmen. When it was late in the afternoon, I entered the electric gym of Nimbasa. I was shocked! Roller Coasters everywhere! The maze of this gym was really enjoyable, and the final battle with Elesa was thrilling. She was the hardest gym leader I battled with so far. Her two Emolga were able to defeat both my Pignite and Simisage, to be defeated by Palpitoad. However, despite the type advantage, her Zebstrika was able to knock out my Palpitoad! I continued this battle with my last Pokémon, Yamask. It was a very hard and long battle, which ended on my side after all the pain. As I got the fourth badge, I went back to the PokéCenter with a team consisting of:
~Pignite, lv 28
~Simisage, lv 28
~Palpitoad, lv 28
~Yamask, lv 28

Beat Drayden. I mainly used it for training Vanillish, and now he's currently my highest-level team member and is close to evolving. Now I'm heading to Victory Road while training my slightly under-leveled team. Hopefully I'll get some good XP from the trainers along the way.

Velia (Serperior) lv43
Stratos (Unfezant) lv42
Smasher (Conkeldurr) lv42
Siren (Gothitelle) lv42
Diesel (Excadrill) lv42
Haagendazs (Vanillish) lv45

Goals for the weekend: Beat the game, transfer my team to White and start a new runthrough using Tepig.

I entered Lenora's gym, solved the puzzle inside and battled her for the Basic Badge. After getting the badge and TM Retaliate (which I taught to my Dewott), I followed the Plasma grunts into Pinwheel Forest with Burgh to retrieve the stolen Dragon Skull. Pinwheel Forest was difficult to navigate, but I was able to catch many new Pokémon: Cottonee, Venipede (which joined my team), Sewaddle, Petilil and even a Panpour! After fighting the last Plasma grunt, I exited the forest to the amazing view of the Skyarrow Bridge. On the bridge and all the way through Castelia City, I was dazzled by the camera dynamics. Castelia City in itself was enormous: I spent hours completing everything in it. During the course of my quest, I fought Team Plasma (again) for returning Bianca's Pokémon, then battled Burgh in his gym after navigating through it. It was a fairly easy battle, and I soon found myself with the Insect Badge as well as TM Struggle Bug.

My team so far consists of the following:
-Dewott, Lv. 23
-Whirlipede, Lv. 23
-Simisear, Lv. 22
-Tympole, Lv. 22
-Timburr, Lv. 22
-Patrat, Lv 9 (HM slave)

Finally escaped out of annoying Pinwheel Forest after healing my party like 100 times. Went to Castelia City and defeated the 3rd gym leader. He was fairly easy having Whirlipede, Blitzle, and Pansear to help me out. All of my Pokemon have evolved at least once except Blitzle. Just needs one more level.

Now I'm just training in Routes 5 and 16 to gain some levels before I battle Esela(sp?)
The Exp. Share is really helpful. Glad I've gotten it now.

Current team:
Bugs - Whirlipede Level 27
Sparkles - Blitzle Level 26
Paco - Archen Level 26
Icee - Dewott Level 27
Gurdurr Level 25
Habanero - Simisear Level 23

Pokedex:
Seen - 49
Caught - 31

I finished the main story. The ending was the best one yet of all main-series games (it is nothing compared to PMD's endings). I wished they made Ghetsis harder, though. The only difficult Pokemon he had was his Hydreigon. I took out half his team with Reshiram.

Now that I beat the game, I'm starting to build my competitive team. I caught Volcarona ASAP, but I'm not gonna use him (until my other team members are in the 70s, that is) because he's too powerful.

My team:
Bueller (Ferrothorn♂), level 44
Pierson (Deino♂), level 45
Mandy (Gigalith♀), level 54
Kevin (Conkeldurr♂), level 55
Dawn (Cofagrigus♀), level 54
Sparky (Galvantula♀), level 53

In box:
Mario (Darmanitan♂), level 35
Anthony (Volcarona♂), level 70
Deus (Reshiram), level 51
Jack (Samurott♂), level 52
Duke (Stoutland♂), level 50
And a bunch of other stuff not worth mentioning.

Dream Team:
Ferrothorn
Hydreigon
Volcarona
Conkeldurr
Cofagrigus
Some other thing

Agreed, PMD has the best endings hands-down. But you should definitely try to beat N and Ghetsis without your legendary. That's what I did, and trust me, it was mad-hard.

So I never beat Black version this time. But I'm going to be sending my team to a friend to hang on to it while I make another run using Tepig. If I make a good team I always transfer it before I restart. Hey, it's 6 more good Pokemon for me to use right?
