Are the Straiton City Gym Leaders the Shadow Triad?
 

some people say the striation gym leaders are the shadow triad. however, bianca was also to late too get them what do you think???

Turns out this rumor might be true.



They each use a Fire, Grass, and Water Pokemon.
The Straiton Gym Leaders and the Opelucid Gym Leaders are the gym leaders not present in this scene. However it makes sense for them to not be present because they haven't been fully featured for a battle.
Pokemon Special was right about Giovanni being Silver's father.

I find it interesting. While Cilan seems way too meek and harmless to be a Shadow Triad member, a lot of Pokémon characters can pull of acts well. Just like Pryce did...

If this is true, it would be a cool and deceptive twist of event. However, betrayal has never been featured in a Pokémon game, so I doubt it.

Seeing how the theory was debunked in BW2, I don't see a point in keeping a speculation thread open. *locks*
