I don't know. I just find it easier to just search for something in search bar of the start menu.

I dunno... I like a clean desktop, but you've still got your Recycle Bin there messing it up. Here's what I'd do: Tun off the "Align to grid" thing and put the bin in the bottom-right corner, putting it's name under the start bar so you can just see the bin in the very corner. Looks much nicer IMO.

The latest wallpaper for the 14th Pokémon movies. Even has Golurk in the very back being awesome as usual. The other Pokemon present are all also quite awesome, though.

I moved most of my games to my start menu

I did try that before but then I realized it was the stupidest idea I've ever had.

It resizes surprisingly well. It's actually about 800 pixels wide.

Cleaned it up a bit

couldn't get two of them in because the file size/image is to big.

In case you're wondering about my background, I took a picture of the backlit keyboard on a friend's MacBook Air. Gotta love those soft focus effects. :3

I generally dislike posting the same thing twice in a row, especially if the wallpaper is essentially the same, but I'll make an exception. I got a new monitor that's widescreen and my wallpaper didn't quite look well when it was that stretched.

I went straight to pixiv to the artist that made the pic, and there I was lucky to also find the background template she used. After a few hours of obsessively resizing, smoothing, sharpening, noise filtering, and RGB/contrast/gamma/etc tweaking, I finally got a piece of the extended background to blend in with the original picture - basically stitching 2 pics of different sizes and colors together - without any noticeable flaws. See if you can spot any. :P

And now I'm off to bed. The few precious hours I have left at home when I come from work, I just wasted them. XD

I got tired of my jpeg background. It was too noticeable with my new GPU and new monitor. So I decided to update my background to something that related to my Mother 3: True Story run.

Needed a new background, sooo.

Also, if you look closely at my Dock at the bottom of the image, you might notice some red, LED-like indicators below the application icons. Those are examples of what I like to create, in terms of user interface designs. I am very much obsessed with LED's... X3

After playing through MMX5 and beating Sigma with Zero, I got the picture you see and made it my background.

Oh my gawd, I went off like crazy in love at seeing the sight of that desktop and yours, Konokama! That's Shiranui I believe? So I had been motivated to change mine as well. My fursona has taken over my desktop. May not be Zoroark this time (because I have that on my netbook already) but I think it'll be just as great, an image my sis and I made together. And yes, this is good ol' Windows XP Professional SP3 which does an amazing job for an old eMachines.

Keep in mind that my wallpaper changes every 10 seconds from my Wallpapers folder, which currently holds more than 250 files.

I always have to clean off my desktoppy majorly before I take these screenies. Consider yourself lucky you don't see the messy desktop instead. x3

Might want to consider getting a new HDD or maybe cleaning the one you already have.

I need one that's for sure, 283 GB is nowhere near enough for me. I have an external hardrive with 500 GB but it's currently backing up every single file on my lappy, not sure if I can use it for storage as well, but we shalll see as I gotta re-install Win7 at some point as well.

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew was such a great movie, I have it on DVD. So I agree with you Seiji, that made a good desktop image. And you know, I like seeing that nostalgic Win98.

I recently changed mine too, made all but the background. I photoshopped my Brawl texture edit of Ookami J Cines (my fursona) as Wolf O'Donnell onto it.

This is my updated desktop, featuring my Second Life avatar, Rynn Conraidh Elyrán, and his 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. The anthrowolf outfit and tuxedo were given to me by none other than Wulf Cines, while the sunglasses and Mustang were found on a map that you can find a lot of stuff for free in Second Life. Unfortunately, I have already forgotten the name of the map. X3

I recently re-installed my OS and still am in the process of getting all of my junk back on this lappy of mine. Everything looks so plain and boring right now without all my fancy-shmancy edits and other widgets (Rainmeter).
