Secret Bases
 
Anyone excited for the return of secret bases?

I imagine they're going to be a lot more useful with the use of Streetpass.

Absolutely, and they better support StreetPass...and they better still support marking certain folks as favorites (ŕ la the original Ruby/Sapphire and Animal Crossing: New Leaf).

Ooh, with StreetPass I might actually find this fun! I could never find the older games fun because I missed the boat on the link cable madness. Now I'll be able to have that steady stream of trainers to battle!

Maybe it could work with Spotpass too. If we get the PSS back, then friends on there could have secret basses as well. Whoever has a team of 6 level 100 Audino will be very popular. :P

I just really hope they don't royally screw over Secret Bases (again, one of my absolute favorite features from Ruby/Sapphire) like they did with many of the social features in X/Y.

It seems very easy to do: simply download secret bases through StreetPass or possibly also your friends' bases through SpotPass, which you send/download from Nintendo's servers whenever you're online. You can register a base/friend as a favorite to prevent their base from being overwritten (like in Ruby/Sapphire). Allow a battle with the registered team once per day in the base...with no experience gain. :P Allow deletion of bases (not just the global 3DS blocking of a user).

Please, Game Freak, do it like that and not make it a mess.

I never really used Secret Bases back in RSE, but I can see them REALLY working in this day and age. If done correctly, of course.

I liked Secret Bases back in the original games. I'm excited for them to return in PORAS, and I hope StreetPass and SpotPass and wifi make them even better than they were before. c:

Before that, they need to fix how Passerby works, lol. It seems all jumbled up to me. Needs some more organizing.

First, we need to know if people are available or not. And I mean people on the Passerby, cause under "Acquaintances" and "Friends" we can already see that.

Second, either make certain rooms like "Battle, Trade, Secret Base, etc." in order to organize Passerby greatly. It gets annoying when I'm trying to find a certain person while the entire screen refreshes every so often.

Lastly, fix Wifi-Battles and Global Trade. It's such a far-fetched thing to ask since it's been this way forever, but c'mon... I get tired of having to forfeit due to some sorry losers using Darkrai's Dark Void on me, automatically making me lose. As for trade, everyone should know what I'm talking about.

These things kill what little replay value XY had, so fixing it would be amazing.
