My Start Over - Soul Silver

Hey Hey, I've just recently started my Soul Silver over again and I'm trying to pick Pokemon you wouldn't necessarily use. My starter is a Totodile and I picked up a Flaffy, these two are more commonly used by users. I picked up a Bellsprout as one of the random ones but need help with 3 others. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Zil.

Try a Doudo. You can teach it fly, and it's pretty underused.

Pidgeot's got good base attack.

Let's see, you'll want an Onix or Golem, or something. Magmortar could be good, maybe a Hypno, Ninetales, Jynx, Crobat, there's a lot of good choices.

I might just try that, will have to find out where I would need to catch it in the game. Cheers.

Dunsparce. 'Nuff said.

What you NEED is a Qwilfish! This guys are awesome.

Pinsir is underrated but is VERY good. I tried using one for the hell of it in HG, and it was one my best team members.

Dunsparce can actually be a pain in the neck for your opponent. With Body Slam, Bite, Headbutt, and Rock Slide on top of Serene Grace and proper EVs, your opponent will have a 70% chance of missing on every turn.

I second this suggestion. I tried a Doduo and was amazed that it didn't completely suck. :3 Good for you for trying new Pokemon!

How about Jumpluff? it's good for dealing quick hits and it learns some deacent moves

I have to warn you that even if Jumpluff is good, getting it there is TORTURE!! Its previous evolutions have a very limited moveset. If you want a good Grass/Flying, I'd go with Tropius (which isn't in SoulSilver. DX.)

Most people pick Totodile (good choice)
