Hey where's that one chat?
 

In the past, VR had an option to use a chatting system. What happened to it? I'd love some answers.

They're shutting it down becuase it's becoming a burden to handle and decreasing forum activity. But it seems as if some people cans till view VRIM, so you might wanna talk to Cat about that.

Cat has a whitelist of members that can access VRIM. If Cat deems that you are responsible enough to use VRIM, then you go on his whitelist. You could easily lose access to VRIM if you misbehave on the forums while you're on his whitelist, though. This has occurred for the reasons Shiny has stated. Just some extra information expand on what Shiny stated for you. I apologize if I went slightly off topic.

Basically what Shiny had informed you is it. They are trying to encourage more forum chat. That may be through PM, VM, or a thread. So the General Chat thread maybe the place you are looking for.
