What are they? Cats? Dogs? Something else? Here is my idea on what they are...

Raikou-Cat or Saber-tooth tiger

Entei- Dog or Lion

Suicune- Mix of a cat and a dog

I think Raikou is a Saber tooth tiger, Entei is a (BIG) dog and Suicure is a wolf.

I'd say suicune is more of a wolf so I guess they could be called the dogs still.

Entei is a Chinese lion. Search for it if you don't know what I mean.
