Fixed time zone on recent thread list

I had completely forgotten that the recent thread list atop the forum was still showing times in only Pacific Time. I updated it to show the time based on your computer's clock setting.

Well it's about time.

Also, anyone who reads this, please let me know what your time zone is and whether or not it works properly.

ThePokeMan November 1, 2013 03:26:07 PM

It's displaying the right time for my time zone (EDT), but lists all the times under PDT for me.

Alright, that problem should be fixed.

Are the times actually incorrect, or were you having the same problem as the folks above?

~Whimsicott~ November 1, 2013 04:49:04 PM

I believe I'm having the same problems. o:

Reuniclus November 1, 2013 04:57:21 PM

Now the "Show more results" doohickey isn't even working for me.

SpikyEaredPichu96 November 1, 2013 05:25:31 PM

Seems to have the right time for me, but I am Pacific time, so I'm not sure if that means anything. I also can't use the "Show More Results" thing.

That should be fixed now too.

Could you give details of your problem?

~Whimsicott~ November 1, 2013 05:46:24 PM

My computer clock say 9:45 pm, right now...however the time on here says 4:51 pm

The time on the "last 14 posts" thing at the top of the forum homepage? Or the clock at the bottom that says, "The time is now..."?

~Whimsicott~ November 1, 2013 06:22:29 PM

"The time is now.." part o:

Scroll down to Date & Time options and select the correct time zone there.

TurtwigX November 1, 2013 06:56:54 PM

Took long enough to get it back to where it once belonged.
Works perfectly for me.

Yeah, I had intended to implement time zones way back when I added it, but I forgot, and nobody mentioned it until I realized it earlier today.

I remember specifically that it was in EST at first, and I was happy. Then someone mentioned that they weren't in that time zone and you changed it to PDT and said not to complain.

At the time, I had no idea how to implement user time zones, especially automatically. I put it in EST because that was the zone most active folks were in, but I switched to PST because that was the default time zone for the rest of the site. I'm not sure what happened after that, though, beyond that I wanted to make it work properly.

No problem.

How's it working for everyone else?

Cat333Pokémon March 9, 2014 01:03:57 AM

Looks like the times before 3 AM are off, but it will fix itself after more threads are updated.
