Keeping the aim of making this section a bit more alive, I've decided to make a traditional 'get to know me' thread.
In this way, people will get to know how some more details about me.
The trend is quite simple: ask me a question just about anything you want, and I'll reply back. I have one last request though: don't make it too personal.

Ever been to that fancy skiing place in Dubai?

We're studying Southwest Asia now, so that would be the areas like the UAE and Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq. We have also looked at many pictures of Dubai and I wish my family was rich enough to go there and have some fun. :3

I've visited most of the famous places in Dubai, including the 'fancy skiing place' called Ski Dubai. It's a very fun place to go to, as there are many slides in the snow park, multiple training courses for skiing beginners, and some really steep slopes for professionals.

Yup, I do. Especially for breakfast.

As you may already know, I'm not visiting you today, since I returned to my house much later than I expected.

To answer your second question, I'd say I do like my school quite significantly. Although there are some things that I don't like about it, I still can't, and probably won't, be able to let go of last year's and this year's memories.

Favourite foods: Pasta, pizza, burgers, steaks and a large variety of fried food.
Favourite beverages: Anything icy and sour (like strawberry slush), chocolate milk shake and fresh orange juice.

Favourite Pokémon: One of the toughest questions. I've quite a lot of Pokémon that I like, but I think the main ones are:

Zapdos, Espeon, Suicune, Lugia, Rayquaza and Empoleon.

Well, I only have Pokémon Battle Revolution as a non-DS Pokémon game. I've never tried any other one from before. Therefore, PBR is my favourite.

Since when did you find yourself attached to Pokemon?

I'd like to take some time and explain things the way I remember them:

Well, since I was introduced to Pokémon in grade 6, I found myself greatly attached to it. With the help of one of my best friends, I was able to play through my FireRed by getting strong, level 100 Pokémon from him. He was a great help and encouragement to me. After some time, he lost interest in Pokémon.
Then you substituted his position when you told me that you bought a 'cool game' called Emerald. Therefore, I got it too, and we started sharing our experience and helping each other out all the way. At this point, I was really very attracted to Pokémon. As things advanced, you became my #1 partner in sharing our adventures in the games, trading with each other, having battles, and helping each other out. Now, I am constantly playing Pokémon ;)

As surprising as it may sound, no, I didn't visit it yet. It is quite expensive and different from my lifestyle.

I think it is Marvel for me.

1- I've recently become interested in the Metroid series after seeing a video of 'Metroid Prime 3: Corruption' on Youtube by luck. I was amazed by the plot, graphics and gameplay because I was longing for a good, 1st-person shooter game on the Wii.
2- I'm pretty excited about Other M's release. I plan on buying it first, then getting the older 'Metroid Prime: Trilogy' later. Do you think I won't be able to play the game/understand what's going on if I do that?
3- Unfortunately, I haven't played any of the games yet.

At the beginning, I wasn't able to spot many online members during my day, and I couldn't partake in any tournament. Then, as things progressed and summer arrived, I'm able to see many members online in the forums, so you can say I got used to it now.

Do you get jealous sometimes? If you do, from whom?

I only get jealous from people who get everything they want without any effort, whereas I have to earn them. It seems unfair to me >_>

Do you ever hate it when your parents get into arguments?

Yes I do, and for one particular fear: that they might get divorced. Thankfully, their arguments do not become so serious, so this is far from reality. However, that fear still resides in me for some reason :/

I seriously don't know how to answer that. I mean, I consider many of the members as my friends, namely Alakazamaster, Cat, Freeze, Sunny, Spirit, SK, Jared and many others.

As for the second part of the question, I'm not going to answer it because it can cause a lot of problems.

What is your favorite Pokemon?

The Pokémon which I like the most is Lugia, obviously.
Others include Scizor, Espeon, Metagross, Rayquaza, Empoleon, Bronzong, Giratina, Meguroko, Kibago, Zoroark, Victini, Reshiram and Zekrom.

What would you do if you get angry at your parents?

I would just confront them and explain my perspective to them. If that doesn't work, then I go to my room and stay there until I calm down, then maybe talk to them again.

Am I allowed to put spam questions here or do they have to be serious?

Post a sample of those questions, and I'll see about them. Don't make them too spammy, though =P

Favourite non-Pokemon game?

I'd say the Super Mario Galaxy series, particularly the second game, is one of my favourites after Pokémon games. There are numerous others, including the Metroid series (which I'm currently searching for) and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

That's actually a tough question. To be honest, I once saw it somewhere and instantly decided to use it as my nickname, but I don't remember a particular reason for that. Nevertheless, the name itself has a cool sound to it, and the meaning associated with it is mysterious and unknown, which makes me like it a lot.

What/Who got you interested in Pokemon?

What is your favourite music genre.

Its punk rock for me, im a bit of a classic rock chic you know like i love bon jovi and stuff like that but i like newer stuff too like three days grace... actually i think thats metal hmmm not sure :/

Oh sorry, I didn't notice that you asked me previously.

Anyways, I got interested in Pokémon after one of my best friends introduced me to Sapphire when we were on a school trip. From there, I bought Emerald and started to get a lot of support from him until another friend of mine, alongside Spirit, shared and discussed their progress with me. Finally, Spirit and I were the only ones who continued to talk about Pokémon and share our interest together.

So, in conclusion, my friend got me interested in Pokémon and Emerald made me love it even more.

Again, that's a fairly difficult question due to my many preferences. If I had to narrow things down, I would say pop and rock are my most favourite genres.

Why is water your favorite type?

Have you been traveling to other countries?

Water is my favourite type because many of my favourite Pokémon, such as Empoleon, Kingdra and Kabutops, have it as their type. Not to mention that Water is an excellent type both offensively and defensively, which makes it very prominent in the competitive environment.

As for traveling, I would say I haven't exactly traveled to anywhere new recently. The last time I traveled was in the summer vacation, where I went to my home country. Other countries which I've been to are the UAE, Kuwait (a Gulf country) and Lebanon.

Hmm... I've got to say it's either Kingdra or Keldeo. Empoleon, Dewott and Samurott are other ones which I really like, each for its own reason.

Definitely Rain Dance. What's a better move than one which weakens certain attacks, empowers others, increases the accuracy of certain moves, decreases others, and activates the abilities of many Pokémon?

What is your motivation behind competitive battling?

I'm not a competitve battler, so I wouldn't get motivated very much

Are you glad I'm better?

I haven't 'officially' started yet, but today I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes and did 10 reps of push-ups and sit-ups.

(Also, that's not really a question about me...)

Challenge. It's so much more challenging than regular battling, and it requires strategic thinking for victory.

If you weren't a water type gym leader, what type of gym leader would you be?

Probably Dragon or Fight. Both types are diverse and contain some of my other favourite Pokémon.

What other series do you play besides pokemon?

Not many, but I really enjoy Mario titles such as Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart. I also like a number of Zelda titles, which is why I'm currently anticipating the release of the new Zelda game on the Wii.

What sports do you play?

Many - soccer, basketball, table tennis, badminton, track and field (I might have missed on some others). I'm not particularly skilled in any one of them, but for the most part I perform pretty well with my speed and willpower.

Why haven't you worked on ZamVideos?

Other than leading a life which is becoming busier every year, I eventually realized that I was spending too much time on ZamVideos and gaining too little from it.

Er, sorry about that dude. I was just trying to be funny. :P

Although I didn't quite understand the funny part about it, it's okay.

What are your favorite and least favorite classes in school?

Favourite: Pretty much all sciences (especially Biology due to dissections), Mathematics.
Least favourite: English Literature, Business Studies.

If you could be a Pokemon who would you be and why?

[Sarcasm]What an original question![/Sarcasm]

I'm going to assume the question covers any Pokémon I want. In which case, if it wasn't obvious enough, I would choose to be Lugia. The thought of flying always fascinated me, so I wouldn't mind being a huge 'bird'. Plus, Lugia is cool, powerful and lives in the water, so what's not love about it?

What are your goals in life?

-Achieve as highly as possible in all educational phases of my life.
-Become famous for something other than singing or acting (preferably medicine).
-Get a good job, start a family and give its members as good a life as I can.
-If I do become a doctor, help poor/suffering people free of charge.

Do you think ghosts exist?

Nope. It's superstition to me and I never believe in such things.

Would you rather be a Pokemon Trainer, a Pokemon, or a Sprite in the Sprite World?

Although I would possess many cool traits, I wouldn't want to be a Pokémon since I don't like to be bossed around. I don't understand what you mean by a 'sprite in the sprite world', so I'm going to choose being a Pokémon trainer; travelling across a region, meeting new people and collecting Pokémon seems like the perfect type of journey for me.

I mean by a sprite in the sprite world, a custom sprite that is traveling in the sprite world.

Are you, in any way, musically talented?

It has to be a tie between Dewott and Piplup.

I don't really read Greek history, so I wouldn't know much about any of them...

Since you included the 'in any way' part, I'm going to say I know how to play two or three simple tunes on the piano. Also, I used to be a very decent singer in my childhood, and although I like to convince myself I still got that in me after growing up, the truth is I'm not as good at it now.

What is your favorite type of travel? (airplane, boat, car, etc.)

After trying all three that you mentioned, I can safely say that travelling by car is not my thing. We returned from a two-day vacation at a neighbouring country today, and my stomach was still aching and 'hollow' after the 3+ hour drive. Travelling by boat is not as fun as I expected it to be, since it is pretty slow when you're on a not-very-modern-boat, so it's not my favourite too. That leaves me with travelling by airplanes, since they're the fastest form of travelling and generally make me the least sick.

What is a unique quality you have that seperates you from everyone else?

I would say it's either dedication or empathy. If I set my mind on something, I like to execute it as perfectly as I can. On the other hand, I tend to feel really empathetic with other people (perhaps a little more than needed), especially when they're in bad situations.
