A Shiny Lilligant and Shiny Volcarona color swap. Along with their color palettes.

Oh baby. I think it looks amazing. Did you actually scratch the wing markings, or just fill it in from Masquerain? And I don't think the face is really all that bad...other than the eyes. They're just...a little odd.

l scratched the wing markings. lt's not as hard as it looks.

The eyes are the weirdest. Hehe, l considered not messing with the eyes while l was spriting, but l ended up doing it.

Hungary lacks her beret, the Netherlands' hairstyle isn't QUITE right.. But other than that, they look okay, to me.

They all look great, but Netherlands could use some work. The outline of his hair blends in with the highlight, causing it to look weird.

I think it is really good, way to go on the great map. I made mine, because you influenced me to.

Since you left,this probably won't be much of help but still ...
There's no outline shading on the girl's "carpet" thingy nor in the sand castle, and the buoy thingies on the water are too close to each other, you could / should have spread them more to look more realistic.

The wings and pincers look weird, and the thing on head too, and so is the tip of the tail. Also the toes on each feet are different.
It's hard tot ell what Pokemon are in there.

I wanted to change the hair a little but everytime i did a few changes it messes it up.

They look more like "Simples" to me
I mean, rather than being in old style (maybe save for Dunsparce) they look the same, and/but they also lack shading

Those were just what I learned to do in the Basic Devamp class of our Spriting School. Had I taken the Advanced Devamp (or whatever it's called), I probably would've learned how to make it look more "old style" and learned how to shade it.

Behold! Here we have our three members Muffin(right), Reuniclus(middle) and Me(left) as fusions!

to me they look good. Im not great with pokemon fusionsm i got to get as good as everyone else.

On the first one, (Muffin?) Latios's tail looks a little out of place at that angle. If he was standing on a perch, it probably wouldn't look so awkward.

On the middle one, there is a...uh, one(1) on the sword...

And the third one. Caught my eye the most, I like this one! I can't find really anything to complain about, except those ears - They seem a little out of place.

My Five newest additions to my sprites! I really want to give a big thanks for Shade, Twiggy and blueumbreon for giving me the inspiration for the Umbreon and Turtwig fusion. The Sceptile one is rather old, so it's not my fault it's crappy xD.

That second one caught my eye so greatly! That is AMAZING

God, I don't see how I can step up to the plate against these guys. All I have are recolors. lol, let's see how it is.

Ive been trying to get a fusion of a yugioh charcter sprite with a pokemon character sprite, but so far they seem they dont mix that well.

Here's my newest sprite, Verizon Wireless!

That gold zekrom i made a while back (about a month ago) im not sure if it really looks golden as MS paint dosnt have a gokd color in its option, but i found a site and shows how to make the gold color so maybe i did it right. Planing to turn reshiram gold colored.

While not really a sprite, it involved placements of sprites and such...
Basically, it's a picture of Darkrai enveloping Rayquaza's lair in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon in darkness. As you can see, the place is pretty darkened already, and Rayquaza got pummeled pretty badly. But yeah. I do stuff like this in my spare time.

I began scratch spriting. Tell me how I did. I began slightly improving as I went on. They are in order of which I made them in. Look how I get soo much better xD

You did good if you just started. But I am going to get straight to what you could improve on.

• The outlines should always be just one color. It is part of shading. It also ads definition.
• I think on the bird-thing you copied and pasted the feet. I think they are the same and mirror/repeating is a big NO NO.
• The outlining could be a little smoother. Like some of the lines are a bit rigid. Experiment with the outlines until you get it right.

Other than that, good job!

Woah, that's pretty cool. How long did it take you to make it? Do you have a name for it?

It's pretty cool, though I could imagine it as poison (like John-Li said) or grass and dark instead of just dark. Must be the green. Maybe it's radioactive! xP

Fire Phoenix thing

Well in my shop I mentioned I was going to do a personal thing. So I decided to do sprites with gold silver crystal sprites for fun so here is a example. (Now I watch as everyone starts doing it)

This was my first attempt at animating a sprite I did just now. It came out okay.

Pixels themselves seem to be good enough, but there's something very iffy about the colour palette. What colour palette are you basing your sprite off? The image looks too cool and has non-black blacks.

Also, try to use more "outline" colours along the edges of the sprite to make the hair look... better.

Yo dawg, I made the pallet myself, I don't plagiarize by copy and pasting. There's only two browns in the hair's ramp, so you're not making much sense when you say to use more "outline colours." Anyone who knows anything about color theory knows that it's better to imply colors than actually use them, that's why I didn't use black. You're also implying that I didn't intend my picture to look cool. 8-)

Look up "colour temperature". The "cool" I was referring to refers to the colour temperature of the screen - for some reason, I keep looking at the same sprite, and I've always thought, "Why so blue-ish?". I hope that that clears up.

I'm not accusing you of plagiarizing - I'm only asking whether you "constrained" your colour palette by sticking to some system or something. Some people that "demake" sprites try to stay accurate to a system's limitations, and I wonder whether you tried to with an original sprite.

I have a feeling that the last one is for Sharky. I really like the first one - Cyndaquil, yay! I think I like everything in the shot, if only because they're beautifully simple.

Reviving thread because after over a year, I'm getting back into spriting. So what do I do after this break? Try something that I haven't done, of course!

It's a reposed Luxray in Mightyena's pose. The shading was entirely from scratch, and there was quite a fair amount of scratch outlining as well. More to come. :3
