It's a trap!

Those of you who have played through the PMD spinoff games should be familiar with those sometimes-annoying little traps that get in your way.

Which one do you dislike or get annoyed at more?

I really hate all the traps, due to them being, you know, traps and all.
I'd really have to say the PP Zero trap is the worst, though. I always have to step on it in an important dungeon. .-.
The warp trap is another one I hate. I'm always the one passing over it, while my weak partner gets warped and overkilled by the other dungeon Pokemon. D:

Well I have to Hate that Grimer switch. When you get hungery in a dungeon and you only have one apple and the grimer switch activates FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

The warp one isn't to much of a bother once you beat the final guild mission Guild mission(witch I must say is the hardest mission I ever did)

Shiny August 24, 2011 07:44:52 PM

I believe there's an IQ Skill that lets you eat Grimy Food with a 50 or so percent chance of no additional effects.

The Spirit of Time August 25, 2011 03:34:22 AM

The Grimer switch is one of the worst, while I also hate the confusing trap.

PP zero. Im in a water pokemon dungeon and i only have one move thats grass. And that move just has to be the one thats chosen.

Reuniclus August 25, 2011 02:50:14 PM

I thought the glue switch was one of the worst, it would always prevent me from using reviver seeds or food items. The spin trap was also an annoying trap.

Shiny August 25, 2011 05:07:37 PM

The confuse trap is another annoying trap as well.
l seem to always step on it a second time after l was confused.

Perfect time to use a move like Thunderbolt, though.

...God I need to play MD again; its been a very long time.

The Explosion Trap. Don't have a team member with the trap removing IQ? It gets annoying when more than one teammate touches the trap.

Kirby-Chan August 28, 2011 03:58:21 PM

PP Zero traps annoys me the most. Espeically when I can't use one of my best moves anymore. Along with the grimer trap when I am a dungeon where there's barely any food and there are a lot of floors.

For escort missions, I hate the warp trap the most since your escort is too weak to fight and would get kill when it meets an enemy. I haven't step a lot of the drop hole traps, but one time time I did with an escort to the golden chamber and I fail the mission.

Haven't played the game in a long time, but the PP Zero trap is pretty annoying for obvious reasons. I hated almost all the traps in general, actually. >.<

Idno58 August 28, 2011 04:06:14 PM

I hated the sticky trap. It always went after my only cleanse orb.

GrassPokemonFTW August 28, 2011 04:27:12 PM

In PMD Red and Blue: PP Zero. Those things are so friking annoying. MY MOVES ALREADY HAVE LOW PP, DANGIT!

In PMD EoTD: Still PP Zero. Dang thing sucks.

In PMD EoS: Grudge Trap. Most broken trap evar.

All my time playing EoS, I never once encountered the Grudge Trap.
I never even heard of it until now, actually.

It usually appears in dungeons that have limitations, but most notably, they're in Oblivion Forest, Treacherous Waters, Southeastern Islands, and Inferno Cave.

They're pretty much a Summon Trap, while making every Pokemon on the floor have a Grudge. It's so freaking annoying when you're trying to get through the dungeon.

Shiny August 30, 2011 03:03:37 PM

I assume Pokemon with a Grudge status charge at and attack you.
Another trap I hate is the Explosion Trap. I always seem to run into it at least once in every dungeon.
The real reason I hate it is because one time after I had stepped on it, I immediately ran into a Monster House. Thanks to me losing half of my HP to the trap, I was immediately killed by various enemies.

Heh, that's why I always bring Petrify Orbs to every dungeon.

I hate ALL OF THEM! Especially those Pokemon traps
"Oooh!! Gummi! Must get!"
A wild Pokemon Trap appeared!
"FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
