Here is the ACTUAL Tread for the RP, Kanto Adventures. Remember to look read the sign up page before posting (http://victoryroad.net/showthread.php?t=9106)! Well thats it :D Lets begin!

MIra looked around the quaint Palet town. "Probably named after a canves." MIra muttered to herslef. She smiled and walked around. Quilava, her partner, was riding on her shoulder. Her goal was to become an expirenced Fire trainer, but not the best due t the fact it was immpossible to become the best. Their were always more straties to learn.

11:00

Jake walked out of the door of his house in Pallet Town, it was a hot summer day and small bird-like pokemon flew away from the small lakefront town. Jake hugged his soon-to-hatch egg and optimistically sat buy the lake observing the poliwag across the way.

Anna Leigh was walking around frustratingly. She just lost her first battle in months. "I can't believe it! I just can't!" She wanted to scream.

Mira smelled the fragrent air. PAlet town was small, quaint but it was so lovely. Quilava seemed to love the air as well. "Can't wait to see some fire types!" Was the first thing Mira said out loud. She and Quilava smiled.

Jake politely turned around and said "Ma'am, can I help you?" talkin' to the screaming lady.

Mira looked at the trainer. He was holding an egg. "Uh...Hi their! This is my trust partner Quilava!" Mira said. Quilava jumped onto his shoulder and rubbed his neck.

"Oh, Hey! I didn't see you... Is there something wrong with the screaming lady?"

Dexter had just walked out of Professor Oak's lab. He was a trusted Breeder throughout Kanto and Johto, and Oak wanted him to check on some Pokemon.
The Pokemon seemed healthy enough to be given out to new trainers.
His partner Violet, the Aipom loved traveling and seeing new faces and Pokemon.

As they exited the Lab, they could see a couple of other trainers in the small town.
"Hmm?" Dexter thought, "I wonder what they are here for?"
"Let's go talk to them." he said as he started walking towards them, his Aipom trotting alongside him.

Anna Leigh was furious, ranting to herself. She stopped short of turning again to pace. "What?" She was refering to the kid holding the egg. "I'm talking to you."

Now Oak, Jake, Anna, Dexter,and,Mira were standing in a circle talking. Jake turned to Anna, "May I help you with something???" Turned to the guy in the Lab coat, The lady with the Quilava, and the kid standing by the professor, "Hello who are you guys?"

"Me?" he replied, "The name's Dexter. I'm a Pokemon Breeder."
Aipom jumped up nudging at him, "Oh, and this is my partner, Violet."
Violet stood near him, trying to seem as cool as she could.

"I come from the Johto region. I came here to visit Professor Oak and his Pokemon?"
He kept on talking, "And who are you?"

"Anna Leigh. Not Anna. Not Leigh." Anna Leigh was huffy from her battle. "Sorry I seem so mad."

"Haha, it's fine! I'm Jake. This is my egg, it is about to hatch so, if you guys stick around and you might see it hatch!," Jake continued, "I'm going to go on a journey! I want to travel the Kanto region! I here there are a few contest arenas in the region I thounght of doing that!"

Anna Leigh looked around the group. Suddenly a Raichu appeared behind her. "Red, what are you doing?" The Raichu looked up.

"Whose Raichu is this"

"Mine. I'm sorry. Red come here." The raichu wandered toward Anna Leigh. "Good boy."

"oh cool!" the egg wiggled a bit, "Did you see that! It moved!"

(gunna go to bed so seeya)

"It might be ready to hatch." Anna Leigh smiled.

"Hmm, let me check out that egg." Dexter said.
"Oooh. It certainly is about ready to hatch. We should get it to someplace safe, just to give it a safe birth away from danger."
"Here," he exclaimed, "let's get into the lab; that's a safe place out of danger!"

"Good idea"
So we made our way to the lab. (Sorry if I am speaking for everybody, it is just you guys are offline.
Before going in Jake noticed the sign outside that said "Professor Oak's Lab"...

...Being in his lab Jake took a moment to observe what this looked like.

"Wow! This place is cool! Professor!" (also since there isnt an offical person for Oak, we can be him as we please)

"Thank you, young man. Before we found you youngster outside, Dexter here was examining a few pokemon for me! Would you guys like to take a look!"

Jake said sure hoping it wasn't wasting anybody else(s) time. Then from 3 pokeballs popped out 3 monkey-like pokemon.

"I am supposed to have a three pokemon for beginner trainer to choose from at the beginning of there journey. This is Pansage, Panpour, and Pansear!"

"Oh, I am more of an adventuring coordinator, Dexter is a breeder... what about you Anna and Mira?"

MIra smiled. "I'm a fire type trainer!" She litarly announced. Fire types were her thing! Nothing would ever make her hate Fire types.

Oak said "Would you say you are a beginner trainer?" Oak new he hadn't had any new pokemon given away in a long time.

The egg wiggled a bit more, with significant strength.

"NO!" Mira said. Quilava was higly trained. She eyed Pansear, the fire monkey. Must have Pansear She thought

"GEE WIZZ! I NEVER GET TO START A TRAINER OFF!" Professor Oak proclaimed.

" Wouldn't mind a pokemon! It would help me in my adventure and my mom will be more accepting of my leaving! I also love pokemon!"

Oak murmered "Well I suppose...," then spoke up, ".... Okay :] pick one for your adventure!"

"I.... pick.... Pansage!"

"I'm Anna LEIGH. I'm a trainer. Don't really have a speciality." Anna Leigh picked up her Raichu and held him so he wouldn't get himself in any more trouble.

MIira grabed Quilava and held him straight. Hmm... Maybe I could have a battle with him... "Hey! You wanna test out Pansage against Quilava? I promise I won't be harsh on you." Mira asked.

'Hmm, well," Dexter started, "if ya need them off your hands, I'll be happy to oblige."

Oak replied, "Why thank you, Dexter." "Which one would you like to take with you?" he asked.

"That one!" Dexter said, pointing at Panpour, the blue monkey.
"This one looks great!" "I''ll take him!"

"Ahh great!" oak replied as he handed Panpour to Dexter.
"Do you have a nickname in mind?"

"Hmm," Dexter thought for a couple seconds, "I'll call him Agua!"
Soon the Panpour was jumping into his arms.

Mira smiled. All of these trainers were getting new pokemon! She felt a surge of excitement rush throuh her body. Maybe this was what it felt like to watch trainers start on a jorney.

Anna Leigh smiled and said, "Red is the only pokemon I need right now. Even though I would love another electric type." Anna Leigh loved Red so much, and she found electrics fascinating.

"I don't feel like battling Mira, I'm sorry... Maybe Anna Leigh would like to battle you!"

"Wait you guys!" Oak wiggled his way into this conversation, "Before you go willy-nilly into the world, you guys will need these!" Professor Oak had 3 colored squares in his hand giving a blue one to Jake, a Red one to Mira (because she liked fire types), and a green one to Anna Leigh (hers gleemed more then the rest, making Jake jealous). He new Dexter had one so he didn't bother. Jake held the blue square in his hand and pressed the shiny blue button in the center.The square expanded into 3 screens and one touch screen on the bottom (4 screens in all). One displayed info, one a picture, another locations, and the touch one was a menu. Jake selected the scan feature on the square and put Pansages pokeball on the touch screen and it displayed all the information needed for life.

"It is called a Pokedex, it is VERY ne...."

Then my little egg hatched. It glowed brighter and brighter and brighter, until it took shape into a magnificent pokemon. It was a black, shivering pokemon.

"I think I have seen one of these before! Lets see what the Dex says"

"Snorunt, the snow hat pokemon, it is said to bring fortune it familys, it can live in snowy areas and can survive ice moves with ease. Snorunt has a powerful jaw, allowing it to use moves such as Bite and Crunch."
"WOW!"

"That's cool." Anna Leigh was impressed.

"Isn't it great! Wow, this is amazing!" Jake hugged snorunt, " I wanna call you Lexi!" then passage popped out of his pokeball and ooted, " you want a name too? You look like a Cornelius! But I will call you Linus!" Jake hugged both of them but Linus got scared, it must be because snorunt was an ice type pokemon.

Anna Leigh was curious. "Can the PokeDex look up trainers?" She wanted to figured out if her sisters were still trainers.

"I don't know, look on yours" gesturing to the new pokedex Oak gave her.

Anna Leigh pressed the button. Suddenly multiple screens came up. "Um.. Anna Belle Cartol." She said this skeptical it was going to work.

"Did it do anything?"

Suddenly all the sister's information came up. "Hey, she's a pokemon nurse."

"Hey, that's cool!"

"I'm sorry, I have to go!" Jake went out of the lab and ran to the left of it to his. He ran in his house, up the stairs and into his room. He grabbed his pack and grabbed a pokeball. First things first, he put the new snorunt into a new pokeball and latched it onto his belt, 2 pokemon in one day, nice. He through a few supplies into his pack and ran down stairs. He forgot he was supposed to meet his cousin Joe in Pewter by 6!

Back at the lab he announced,"hey im sorry, I need to go!"

"That's okay." Anna was going to visit her sister anyways.

Mira silently followed. She wanted to ask if he would explore te Kanto region with her.

"You guys, I gotta go!" I proclaim, "Do you guys wanna come? I am setting out to be a coordinator, maybe go in the Grand Festival! Where I moved from I always wanted to be in contests. And when I moved here I heard they had started doin' contests" Jake turns toward the door.

(I will wait for shiny to say if he is going, but if he doesn't was in the point of this so
@Shiny: You better offer to come
@Dewott: You too)

"Yeah! After all, I want to see if I can find more fire types!" Mira said. This kid also seemed kinda nice.

"No, I have to go see someone. Meet up with you guys later." Anna Leigh headed to the pokemon hospital.

"Well," Dexter said as he fumbled with his glasses, "I have never been on an adventure before, and this will be a great experience"
"I'd love to go!"

"Come on Agua, Violet," Dexter said as he motioned at them, "let's start our adventure!"

"Dexter, You want to battle?" Mira asked. She was itching for a battle badly.

Anna Leigh changed her mind. "Wait up guys." Anna ran catching up to them.

"Well, I'm not much of a battler. really..." He replied.
"It hurts me to see poor Pokemon get hurt in battles.."

"Ah,okay." MIra replied, a little disappionted. But she could understand Dexter. Some people were like that. Others didn't care about pokemon and just battled with them.

Anna Leigh was a little outta breath. "What's up?"

"Hey You wanna Battle?" She asked Anna. "I wanna battle some trainer because I'm bored." Mira said.

"Boredom isn't a good reason to battle." Anna Leigh looked back to see Red in a tree. Anna Leigh rushed back to get him.

"Whatev's." MIra sighed. How come nobody wanted to battle here. Maybe she could battle a wild pokemon or talk.

Then Linus popped out of his pokeball and ooted... " I think Linus accepts your challenge Mira!!! Dexter will you ref? Oh, and it is foolish to battle for the fun of it, it is abusive to the pokemon."

"Sure I'll ref!" he exclaimed.
"Umm.. On this side is Jake and Linus, the Pansage. On the other side is Mira and her Quilava"
"Let the battling begin... I think.."

Anna Leigh looked intently. She could use this knowledge to her advantage in the future.

"OKay Quilava," Mira thought. Snnorunt just hatched, so I shouldn't go to hard on him... "Use Double Team!" Mira said. She always started a battle off with Double team.

"Ready Linus?"
"Pan-Sage!!!"
"Use Wine wipe in a circular fashion!"

Vine whip swung eliminating all but one of the duplicates. It didn't hit the real quilava.

(If you have ever watched the show, it isnt like ASB)

Anna Leigh marked down every move, and its disadvantage. She was statistic based with her knowledge.

"Hmm..." MIra thought."Quilava, Wild charge around Pansage As fast as you can! But remeber, don't hit it!" MIra commanded.

Anna Leigh was already running out of space around her. Luckily she had a photographic memory

From the scan he did on Linus, he knew he was limited on moves.
"Linus, use Leech seed on the feet of the Wild Charge" Pansage took directions well, and the leech seed tangled quilava at the feet making it struggle. (if you nhave seen the anime show, leech seed just tangles the pokemon)

"Quilava, see if you can burn the vines with Flaethrower!" MIra commanded. Quilava started a flamthrower attack on the Vines and...

Anna Leigh kept write on the ground. Numbers and words were scattered about now

"This is your chance! Go in for a scratch attack!" It hit dead on, with quilava in the trap of the vines it was hard to actually hit Pansage, plus the fact he was burning the vines... It got Quilava, but unforunatly took the vines away...

"OKay Quilava, use Flamewheel!" MIra commanded. Quilava was darting straight for Pansage with that Flamewheel!

Being so close with the scratch it hit pansages left side, but Quilava flew past with great speed gaining distance. "Since he has distance use Bullet Seed to ge him!" but the efforts were futile, it would be hard to hit from that far away! "Pansage be ready to dodge"

"Quilava, when Pansage doges, turn!" MIra commanded. If Pansage moved right, Quilava would hit him right.

"Pansage are you okay?"
Thats when Jake new that pansage would be more of a fighter than a contest pokemon.
"Pansage use leech seed right on him!" With quilava was so close it was quite easy to land a few seeds. It was a MESS, so many vines! There was a hard chance at hitting yourself with an attack with your feet tied... Quilava looked like he was in a HUGE stuggle

"Quilava, use the vines like a sheild! Now Use FLamethrower!" MIra confidently said. Quilava was her ace.

With quilava wrapped from chest to toe, he was on the ground with no feet to balance on. The flamethrower was SO close to hitting but it only singed hairs.
"Use Bullet Seed, but try your hardest to not hit the vines!"

"Quilava, Curl up so the seeds don't hurt you!" Mira commanded. All Quilava did was flop on it's side.

Unfortunately they hit.

"Swiftly use a Vine Whip to snap him! Try to end this soon!" Wow This has been going on a long time (I think the time is now [if you know what I mean Dewott])

(Yup)The vine whip Broke all of the vines and hit quilava in the KO spot. "NO!! I CAN"T LOOSE!" MIra complained. But Quilava had Fainted, and their was no way to reverseit. She walked over to her challnger and Shook his hand I LOST TO A GRASS TYPE?! MIra sadly thought. BUt She said. "Great match!"

"Thank you, lets go to the Pokemon Center im Pewter City, it shouldn't be far now. It looks like our pokemon needs some care." Jake held Pansage in his arms and rewarded him for his efforts.

Mira Picked up Quilav, Who Seemed to now be taking a nap. She lightly picked him upso He wouldn't wake him.

Jake sensed tension
"Type advantages are good, but strategies are key. If I had learned anything from my dad, thats it"

('m probably done with this RP till Marching and Shiny come back)

"Statistically, Quivila should have won." Anna Leigh stood up. "You can see here." She pointed to a statistics chart she had made.

"Logics aren't always correct." MIra sassed.

Jake eyed bother of theme. He knew the key was determination and belief in your pokemon.
"What ever, lets keep moving." looks over and notices there is an Emolga swooping the forests around here.

"Yes that is true." Anna Leigh retorted. "But logic is the base of life. Also you don't see disadvantages in battling." Anna Leigh was going to continue the sentence, but her brain processed that if she said "making you a weaker trainer than Jake." There would be a fight breaking out.

Mira Frowned. "Well, perhaps Your "Logics" Are incorrect. Go check them over again, and While you do, I'll be bored.

"Statistics." Anna Leigh was tempted to slap her. The only reason Anna Leigh did well was statistics.

"No, their logics. Statistics means that you level grinded a pokemon to level 10. Well like I said, go make some logics happen. Or tamper with phychics. Or, just do somthing To amuse me." Mira stated, petting Quilava.

"Hey there is Pewter City!" and there was Jakes cousin Marley waiting for him at the entrance or it.
"Ay cousin! How are ya!"
"Good, you? Guys this is Marley, Marley - Guys"
"Oh fine, I got a present for you!"
She handed him a box, Jake took it and slowly opened it and it was a seal case! jake needed one for contests!
"Thanks!" Jake hugged her!
"There is a contest going on tomorrow for beginners! Well it goes one all through the summer once a week!"
"Okay, cool! Are you guys up for it? Hey Anna Leigh and Mira you could battle the Gym Leader!"

"Sounds Groovy!" Mira said, smiling. She looked for the gym.

"Fine." Anna Leigh was ready to do anything

'Hey Be sure to locate that Raichu of yours!" Mira called out to Anna, Before walking to the Pokecenter

"I wonder where she is going."

"You 3 can stay at my house if you want to!" said Marley

(guys please stop ninja-ing everyone!)

Anna Leigh knew Red well. If she was frustrated, Red was too. He had probably wandered away.

So you guys wanna stay here for the night?

"Sure!" Mira said, petting quilava.

Anna Leigh made up a camp and saw Red wandering toward her. He seemed tired.

"Well I'm hungery!" MIra announced. All of the days excitement made her hungery.

Ashley was extremely tired and impatient. She layed down.

Mira head her stomach growl loudly. She began thinking about food. No. Don't think about food. You'll be even hungerier. Think about that Pansage. I wonder if it's leaves could make a good- MIra grumbled. She couldn't stop thinking sbout food.

Anna Leigh fell asleep on the ground with Red.

"Well" Dexter said in a low whisper, "looks like it's time for us to hit the sheets."
"Come here Agua, Violet." He motioned towards a small bed he made for them out of pillows and a blanket. "You can sleep here."
Dexter yawned as he curled up besides them. He was too tired to make his bed, and the floor seemed more comfy at the time.

Mira petted Quilava and sighed. She could finally go on an adventure with some people! But she felt humiliated. Her Fire type lost to a grass type! How humiliating. Oh well, Maybe when she challenged him again, she'd win. Or maybe she'd just lose again.

(I dont know where you guys are but like I said I am at Marley's house like she offered.)

At about 12 at night Snorunt had waken me up. He had wanted to train for tomorrow, and we needed it! If we were going to be in a contest we needed a routine! So we spent a lot of the night training hard.
