Gym #1 - Water Gym
Hello everyone, and welcome to my gym. Here, you will experience the thrilling strategies and power of Water Pokemon with their potent abilities and moves. Dive in and challenge me - I know you will definitely be immersed in action! ~Rules of the Gym: 1- Uber Pokémon cannot be used. They are:
Uber Pokémon
2- The Sleep, Species, Evasion, and OHKO Clause are in effect. If you don't know any of the above, please have a look at the "Rules" sub-section under the heading "-Gym leader position" here. 3- Hacked Pokémon are not allowed. If you are caught using one, the battle will be immediately discarded. Moreover, you will receive an infraction and/or possibly a ban. 4- You must use the same team that you used for challenging the other gym leaders. 5- No flaming, mocking or disrespecting each other. 6- Explosion and Self Destruct are allowed for use 2 times only in the battle. Note that if you and your opponent both had your last Pokémon, and one of you used either Explosion or Self Destruct, he/she loses the battle, and the other member wins. 7- No Luck/Hax items allowed.

I only want this thread for members to post their challenge requests, not anything else. 9- Any member who finished his battle with me must wait for 96 hours before asking for a rematch. 10- You are not allowed to mention any of my team members anywhere or to anyone. ~Battling Style: Gen IV: DS Battles/Pokémon (DISALLOWED) - 6 vs. 6, level 100, single battle. Gen V: Pokémon (DISALLOWED) ONLY - 6 vs. 6, level 100, single battle. ~Gym badge: If you defeat me in a battle, you will receive the Marine Badge: http://www.victoryroad.net/attachmen...1&d=1273438438 ~Prize Pokémon/item: GENERATION IV BATTLE PRIZES 1) If you defeat me once, you get an Adamant Mudkip. 2) If you defeat me two times, you get a Modest Piplup holding a Wacan berry. Two of those Piplups know Surf and Ice Beam, while one of them knows Agility. 3) If you defeat me three times, you get a Bold Kyogre holding a Master Ball! To be honest, yesterday's battle with you was the best battle I ever had. It took us more than 40 minutes! However, we will have another battle, right?

Battle #1 (unofficial) Shadow vs. The Spirit of Time The Spirit of Time wins. It was a pretty long but good battle. Well done, Spirit. Battle #2 Shadow vs. Aragornbird Aragornbird wins. It was a pretty good battle; we were both down to our last 2 Pokémon. I'm really glad things are kicking off like that for me. Well done, Aragornbird. Battle #3 Shadow vs. The Spirit of Time Shadow wins. It was a pretty intense and mind-bending battle. Probably the best I've ever had with anyone. Shadow vs. Pkmnmaster0603 Shadow wins. Great battle. I especially felt threatened when facing your first Pokémon, especially that it killed my lead using one move. Fortunately, I was able to knock it out before it ruined all my team. Thanks for such a battle :D |

Although my exams finished, my gym will remain closed temporarily because of new changes being done for my team (due to Latias's transition to the Uber tier). Do not worry: it will come back to action in no time.

Anyways, my gym will remain closed till August 8th because I'm going on vacation. Since there's virtually no Wi-fi in the place I'm traveling to, I won't be able to take battles at all. Sorry guys. |

-Salamence has been added to the Uber list, so it cannot be used now. -Going to open my gym in 20 days. -Pokémon (DISALLOWED) is probably going to be allowed in my gym. |
The gym is finally back in action! Right now, I'm only taking battles on Pokémon (DISALLOWED), as I won't be using Shoddy Battle, and my team is not yet ready on the DS.

Shadow vs. Magmaster12 Magmaster12 wins. That was a very intense battle. Although I did some accidental mistakes during the battle, which subsequently resulted in a loss of my team members, Magmaster was deserving the victory. |

Update 1: The members 'kamenblast' and 'YAmIOnFier' have been removed from the waiting list due to inactivity. All the other members who requested a battle have been added to the list.
Update 2: I might be able to hold battles on Pokémon (DISALLOWED) again in the next few days, as I think I found a way to make it work. Otherwise, I'll start re-accepting battles on Pokémon (DISALLOWED) when my computer gets formatted, which should hopefully be sometime during the next 10 days. |

Shadow vs. [TRDRS]PokeTrader [TRDRS]PokeTrader wins. It was a tough battle for me due to type disadvantage, therefore victory was ultimately on TRDRS' side. HOWEVER, there might be a possible problem with his team so I'm currently investigating it with him. I might ask for the opinions of the other GL staff members if required, but I'm not sure yet. Until the matter is settled, the result will only be considered as tentative for now. EDIT: After much discussion, it turned out that TRDRS did have a problem in his team which breaks the rules. In spite of that, I agreed to raise him as a winner because he apparently never intended to commit the offense on purpose. |

Battle #20
Shadow vs. Blues Blues wins. This was one of my toughest battles ever. Although I started on a bad note, I was successfully able to sweep his team until we both reached our final Pokémon. Although his was at low HP, paralyzed and confused (having a mere 30% chance of attacking), he still hit me. I didn't die, but luck wasn't on my side, as I was inflicted with a status that caused my weak Pokémon to be killed. Nevertheless, Blues is a really strong competitive battler who has a well-made team. I'm looking forward to battle him again sometime. |

Shadow vs. Alakazamaster Alakazamaster wins! I did so many accidental mistakes in this battle! Firstly, I chose the wrong move by mistake on one of my Pokémon, and then I sent out the wrong Pokémon without seeing what it was first! I should really consider having another battle with Kaz, as I don't know what was wrong with me in this one. >_< (Also, [TRDRS]PokeTrader's ban has now expired.) |

Shadow vs. Magmaster12. Shadow wins. Nice battle, Magmaster. At first, bringing down your Pokémon was easy, but after a while, things got harder. Thankfully, I was able to overcome the difficulties and ultimately defeat you. |
