Gym #8 - Dark Gym
http://i53.tinypic.com/av1un9.png Hey! Welcome to my Dark-type gym, where the only thing that matters is that you have fun! As long as you consider losing fun :3. Before posting a challenge, please be sure to read all of the rules of my gym! Rules of the Gym: 1- Uber Pokémon cannot be used. They are:
Uber Pokémon
2- The Sleep, Species, Evasion, and OHKO Clause are in effect. If you don't know what any or all of those are, check out the "Rules" sub-section under the heading "-Gym leader position" here. 3- Hacked Pokémon are not allowed. If you are caught using one, the battle will be immediately discarded. Moreover, you will receive an infraction and/or possibly a ban. 4- You must use the same team that you used for challenging the other gym leaders. 5- The results of the battle must be posted in the thread by me. 6- No flaming, mocking or disrespecting each other. 7- Explosion and Self Destruct are allowed for use 2 times only in the battle. Note that if you and your opponent both had your last Pokémon, and one of you used either Explosion or Self Destruct, he/she loses the battle, and the other member wins. 8- No Luck/Hax items allowed.

9- Please refrain from posting non-related posts here, such as chat and complimentary posts. I only want this thread for members to post their challenge requests, not anything else. 10- Any member who finished his battle with me must wait four days before asking for a rematch. 11- Do not mention any of my team members to anyone. Even those who don't have an account on VR. Battling Style: DS Battles: 6 vs. 6, level 100, single battle. Now also accepting battles over Pokemon (DISALLOWED)! Gym badge: If you beat me in a battle, you will receive the Shade Badge: http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/5728/dark4l.png Prize Pokémon/item: If you defeat me you will receive a Master Ball attached to any Pokemon of your choosing! -For the record, before I became a Gym Leader, I originally chose the Dark Type out of the ones still available, before changing to Ground. So it`ll be even more fun battling a high-level Dark trainer for once :D |

As a GL staff member, I can confidentially say that your gym is one of the best around here. However, you could've changed a little more of my write-up to make it your own, but that doesn't really matter at all.
Also, I'm looking forward to battle you (on the DS), and I hope that it turns out to be a good battle. |
After a fairly epic battle with Shadow, which literally came down to each of us with one Pokemon left, both with status inflictions and very low HP, I was able to come out on top for the win!

My first time using PO, I was surprised at how fast-paced it was and missed a lot of key moves in the battle! Nonetheless, Aura defeated me fair and square, and he did a good job.

In a very interesting and fast-paced Gym v. Gym battle over PO, I was able to get Nin into a tough spot and then eventually sweep his remaining team for the win.

Wow, RK is perhaps the luckiest battler I've ever encountered! After a brawl filled with lots of crits, I was barely able to overcome him in the end!

Hey Blues, I am currently working on getting PO on my other computer, since it doesnt work on my laptop, because my DSi is acting up and freezeing while I am playing, so I am probably going to have to battle on PO. Just letting you know.

This was actually a VERY close match on PO! Lite and I both came down to our last Pokemon, but in the end I got the win.

Me and Kaz have yet to have an official gym battle. And TRDRS didn't actually win, we both had 1 Pokemon left and it DC'd. I let him have the badge, but I'm not going to list him.

Kaz started out with the advantage, but I was able to get a short sweep in, bringing us down to 4-3. Unfortunately though, as I was setting up with another Pokemon of mine, Alakazamaster fled, saying that he couldn't win and didn't desire it to drag on. Giving me the win by default. D:

IDischarge almost had me there for a while, but in a VERY long move, I was able to pull of a late-game sweep for the win. But he's definitely improved!

In our FIFTH battle, I was finally able to overcome Spirit with a late-game sweep for the win. FINALLY giving me his gym badge.
GG Spirit! But that's not all... beating Spirit means that I now have all of the gym badges in the league! Oh yeah! |
