In order for you to evolve Feebas in HG/SS, you have to...

According to Serebii, Daisy Oak, Blue's sister, gives massages to your pokemon at a certain time of the day. Just like in D/P/Pt, this increases the happiness of your pokemon, however, in HG/SS, these massages have other effects, which is, increasing your pokemon's beauty. When you send your pokemon to D/P/Pt, you will find out that by viewing its stats, and Serebii also mentioned that every massage completes 1/8th of the beauty, which means a pokemon will get a complete beauty within 8 days, therefor, after 8 days, you can get a Milotic. For further information about it and about how to get Feebas, check www.serebii.net

Hope I helped! ^_^

I think some of the stats are missing from HG/SS (at least, that's what I've noticed through my play-through)

Wouldn't the hair-cuts increase beauty too?

Oh yeah, it says that on the page, under the 'Contest Condition' heading. (By the way, that link doesn't work :?)

Oops! Thanks for warning me!

Alakazamaster January 8, 2010 12:27:21 PM

Ah, that sounds much easier than cooking high quality poffins (which I could rarely do) or buying overpriced poffins in Platinum (which I could, but hated.)

Mi10tic_Fan January 9, 2010 03:10:40 AM

Well it's rather annoying for the set time for Daisy's massages though, but I prefer the poffin stirring at DPPt more. Well because it's way much faster rather than having to wait 8 days just to get max beauty stats. Anyone with enough patience to stir poffins will agree with me.

I do agree with you. Cooking/purchasing Poffins is a faster way.

Do the massages take away sheen?

I don't have an answer for that, but Serebii didn't mention anything about it so I don't think so. However, if you want to get more sure then you can contact Serebii and he will reply.

OR! You can cheat the system and set your D.S. clock to one minute before midnight and just wait a minute to get a massage and reset the clock to one minute before midnight and just repeat.

XD Hahaha I do that all the time for time-based features!

Flare Soru January 27, 2010 08:24:41 PM

Sounds better to me. I may actually try for a Milotic now...

Magmaster12 January 28, 2010 02:03:55 AM

It's a lot easier then making poffins/pokeblocks.

I agree with the cooking part, however... I think some are overlooking that you have to grow the berries also. Getting enough berries is quite the pita and takes a lot of time.

Laef August 23, 2010 02:10:14 PM

Victoria, all you need is 1 pamtre berry and you can buy Wiki berries in plat. Combine that an you get a milotic

No, its happiness. :) At least in HGSS

Ditto616 August 27, 2010 07:26:57 AM

Actually, both types of haircuts also increase beauty, along with happiness.

Luxray13579 August 27, 2010 07:42:05 AM

That sounds easier than cooking Poffins, but I'm talented at Poffin making.
One question, isn't Daisy Blue's sister? Green isn't in the game, and Green is a she. (I'll fix it.)

Ditto616 August 27, 2010 07:50:46 AM

Well Lux, technically it was Red and Green first in Japan. We got Red and Blue which led to the rival being named Blue, which led into 2nd gen and the remakes. I know I use Green for the rival's name more often than Blue.

Cookie Snatcher September 5, 2010 09:19:09 PM

Wow! Never knew that! Awesome! :D

VictoryofAmerica September 5, 2010 10:19:10 PM

so thats how its done

Searinox September 12, 2010 04:43:15 AM

Thank god for crossversion trading. I caught ONE feebas and went through the evolution hassle ONCE, in Sapphire, so I never have to go through this ordeal ever again. Feebas is hands-down the hardest pokemon to evolve. XD

Fubab_107 September 14, 2010 04:00:56 PM

Just used it today, and yes it is easier than before. @~@
