In order for you to evolve Feebas in HG/SS, you have to...
According to Serebii, Daisy Oak, Blue's sister, gives massages to your pokemon at a certain time of the day. Just like in D/P/Pt, this increases the happiness of your pokemon, however, in HG/SS, these massages have other effects, which is, increasing your pokemon's beauty. When you send your pokemon to D/P/Pt, you will find out that by viewing its stats, and Serebii also mentioned that every massage completes 1/8th of the beauty, which means a pokemon will get a complete beauty within 8 days, therefor, after 8 days, you can get a Milotic. For further information about it and about how to get Feebas, check www.serebii.net
Hope I helped! ^_^ |
I think some of the stats are missing from HG/SS (at least, that's what I've noticed through my play-through)
Wouldn't the hair-cuts increase beauty too? Oh yeah, it says that on the page, under the 'Contest Condition' heading. (By the way, that link doesn't work :?) |
Oops! Thanks for warning me!

Ah, that sounds much easier than cooking high quality poffins (which I could rarely do) or buying overpriced poffins in Platinum (which I could, but hated.)
|
Well it's rather annoying for the set time for Daisy's massages though, but I prefer the poffin stirring at DPPt more. Well because it's way much faster rather than having to wait 8 days just to get max beauty stats. Anyone with enough patience to stir poffins will agree with me.

Sounds better to me. I may actually try for a Milotic now...

It's a lot easier then making poffins/pokeblocks.

Victoria, all you need is 1 pamtre berry and you can buy Wiki berries in plat. Combine that an you get a milotic

Actually, both types of haircuts also increase beauty, along with happiness.
|
That sounds easier than cooking Poffins, but I'm talented at Poffin making.
One question, isn't Daisy Blue's sister? Green isn't in the game, and Green is a she. (I'll fix it.) |
Well Lux, technically it was Red and Green first in Japan. We got Red and Blue which led to the rival being named Blue, which led into 2nd gen and the remakes. I know I use Green for the rival's name more often than Blue.

Wow! Never knew that! Awesome! :D
|
so thats how its done
|
Thank god for crossversion trading. I caught ONE feebas and went through the evolution hassle ONCE, in Sapphire, so I never have to go through this ordeal ever again. Feebas is hands-down the hardest pokemon to evolve. XD

Just used it today, and yes it is easier than before. @~@
