Having trouble spriting
I am currently spriting some new pokemon (yipee!). I need some help. Can you just say that the sprites are coming up with a black background. I turn my color to white, then fill bucket the black square around it. But if i do this to Aron and it evo lines most of it turns white and parts are missing. Anyone help me? Or just have any good advice? P.S. im using microsoft paint.

When your spriting don't use cut tool use select and carefully erase the parts you need also when you select the select tool it shows in the tool box two options under the colors one looks like the select tool icon over white and it's pre selected select the other one so the no white stuff shows up I suggest you also watch one or two spriting tutorial vids

If that happens, it's easier to save them to your computer and open from there. I think Dragonfly Cave lets you download them in bulk, so that's useful if you want to be organized.

thanks for the help =3

I remember making my very own sprites from scratch on MS paint. I just zoomed in with the microscope tool so the pencil made single square pixels. They were never saved on a floppy and were lost forever. Some sprites had over 100 pixels.

I kinda going to start doing sprite stuff again soon, i hope if and when i get a laptop.
