Week in Review

In the past week, Crystal Islands has made numerous changes, added tons of content, and has worked to improve the overall look and feel of the site.

New Look!
Crystal Islands has taken on a look of its own. When viewing the site, you will (at default) see the Serene Sea style, which Floatzel Resort is based off of. In addition to this, the new widescreen view is used.

Screen Resolutions
Instead of our old widescreen/thinscreen modes, you can now choose between three resolutions, 800x600, 1024x800/1024x600, and 1280x1024.

Menu Improvements
The menu system has received two nice improvements: a transition between opening and closing, and most of the menus being closed by default. This not only saves space, but it makes things feel more smooth.

Mobile and Print Modes
When printing or viewing Pokezam in a mobile browser, things will automatically be optimized for viewing. Try it out!

Orange Islands Pictures
The anime section received a nice addition of 250 pictures for each and every episode of the second Pokémon season. Next up, Master Quest!

PokeDex Bug Fixes
The PokeDex now properly displays most Pokémon evolutions (still a few we will work out soon), and fixes a gender glitch.

Diamond/Pearl Walkthrough
The diamond and pearl walkthrough has now been almost completed and posted. We will also get some screenshots soon, and add post-E4 data.

Diamond/Pearl Sprite Section
We have finally added all of our sprites to the Diamond and Pearl section. You can find battle sprites, PC sprites, overworld trainer sprites, and other miscellaneous stuff.

What's next? We're not entirely sure, but we're currently working on starting the Platinum and HeartGold sprite sections. We also will be working on Master Quest episode pictures and Manga soon.

Looks, great, you're doing an awesome job FW. :P

Keep up the good work! ;)

In fact, you're doing an excellent job, FW.
Everything looks quite fascinating to me.
Like SK said, keep up the great work.

(Side note: I feel like the blue background in the theme "Serene Sea" is a bit too light. Maybe make it slightly darker?)

Looks very nice, good job FW!

If I could just make a small suggestion, on your Pokémon episode guide. When you go to an episode's page, on the right you have a blue box with a picture, Japanese title, Who's That Pokémon, location, characters, etc. The black text used for the information doesn't stand out on the dark blue background, you may want to go with a lighter color for the text.

The Pokedex looks awesome.
