Internet Explorer-tan, aka Inori Aizawa

Yes, folks, this exists, and is official!

I definitely must comment that Microsoft is certainly getting into interesting forms of advertising, this time targeting the anime fans.

Hmm...

Watch this space - I have a feeling something's coming up.

As uninterested as I am in IE (and browsers in general), it's interesting how much effort they're putting into this. I don't know whether they think it'll actually pay off, but... it's kind of neat.

It's accurate because whoo boy is Internet Explorer amazing. And don't get me started on Windows 8 mode.

We have been doing nothing but talking about this in school. I will make sure our next anime club meeting is nothing but this :P

Wolfbane5001 November 7, 2013 12:38:17 PM

As an Internet Explorer user since 2002, I am both confused and interested.

Also, I'm going to leave the video here for anyone who didn't yet see it:

Looks like the "Inori Version" is just a branded IE11. (Internet Explorer can be easily branded, as always.)

Pokemanmdj November 9, 2013 10:07:09 AM

Definitely unique- interesting, I guess.
Microsoft knows the kinds of people to appeal to. Anime fans use the internet a lot. They're learning.
