Legendary Saga (Book One: The Tower of Darkness)
 

I came up with this idea after reading series by Rick Riordan, mostly the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, and my main inspiration of them all, The Kane Chronicles series.



Eight chosen teens, two from Johto, two from Hoenn, two from Sinnoh, and two from Unova, must go on a quest together, after being given powers from various Legendary Pokemon, who are growing gradually weaker because Team Rocket merged with Teams Magma, Aqua, Galactic, and Plasma. The new team, called Team Chaos, has awakened Darkrai and captured Mew. Unfortunately, Arceus has been in a deep slumber in the heavens for hundreds of years, so Arceus is powerless to stop them.

The teens must travel the five main regions to stop Team Chaos's leader, Adolfo (Giovanni's nephew), from capturing the weaker Legendary Pokemon, and enslaving all of mankind and ruling this world as dictator for life.

The eight teens are listed below.

Eric Damon, inherits the power of Lugia
Peggy Owen, inherits the power of Ho-Oh
Nadya Romanov, inherits the power of Kyogre
Cesar Gomez, inherits the power of Groudon
Abdul Sherif, inherits the power of Dialga
Michelle Johnson, inherits the power of Palkia
Francine Quinn, inherits the power of Reshiram
Yoshi Ishimura, inherits the power of Zekrom.

They all have been called to the Ruins of Alph in Johto by a mysterious man and woman who seem to be part of the rebellion against Team Chaos.
