The latest video has been released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel. In it are the following features:
Rockruff's evolution has been given the English name,
Lycanroc. Lycanroc's two forms are version-exclusive Rock-types, with Midday Form (with Keen Eye or Sand Rush) exclusive to Pokémon Sun and Midnight Form (with Keen Eye or Vital Spirit) exclusive to Pokémon Moon.
Fighting-time
Passimian (with the ability Receiver that takes a fainted ally's ability) is exclusive to Pokémon Sun, and Normal-/Psychic-type
Oranguru (with the abilities Inner Focus or Telepathy) is exclusive to Pokémon Moon. Oranguru has a new move called Instruct, which gives its ally a second turn.
Pokémon Refresh is the replacement for Pokémon Amie. In addition to petting your Pokémon, you can also wash them after they become dirty from battling as well as cure them of status conditions. Poké Puffs have been replaced with Poké Beans.
Two new Z-Moves have been introduced. Pikachu can use
Catastropika, a superpowered Electric attack. Eevee can call upon the other eight Eeveelutions in
Extreme Evoboost to raise all five of its stats by two stages each.
Customization is back! Hats can be removed, and clothes items can be dyed using a new item called
Festival Tokens.
Finally, the Pokémon Bank update will be released in
January 2017. Pokémon from the Virtual Console releases of Pokémon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow can be transferred (one-way) using Poké Transporter into Pokémon Bank.
