So i'm planning on a let's play of fire red...

Got any tips?
Such as...
-What should my starter be? Charmander seems like it will be the starter
-What should my team be? Got most of it, still undecided though
-Should i show the legendary birds and mewtwo? You bet I will
-What level should i be once i get to the E4? Hopefully level 50-55
-What level should i be once i get to a specific gym? My highest shouldn't be lower than their lowest
-Should i post commentate? I will try and not to
-What should the nicknames of the pokemon be? I should start thinking or people should start helping

My thoughts (percent means which one i would want more),
Charmander
Jolteon
Scyther(Any other suggestions?)
Cloyster(50%)/Tentacruel(50%) (cant decide)
Primeape(35%)/Machamp(65%)
Dragonite(35%)/Alakazam(30%)/Gengar(35%)

ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED!!
And I will give anyone who helped credit at sometime during the let's play.

Note: If your going to suggest pokemon other than the ones listed, make sure they are available in Fire red.

-What level should i be once i get to the E4? I think you should keep off-screen training to a minimum, since it is not as interesting to watch an over-levelled team plow through everything.
-What level should i be once i get to a specific gym?
-Should i post commentate? Eh, I find commentary that goes along with the video is more interesting, but if the goal of your LP is to be a walk-through, post commentary works better.

Some good suggestions, now i just gotta find out the trick to getting alakazam on a rom (by that i mean trading on a rom)....

I was wondering if I should use post commentating because camtasia studio can't record the sound coming out of my speakers and its hard to hear my speakers through my microphone, but I will try to the best of my abilities... as long as my hears don't explode from a high pitched screech....

And I think getting victreebell will be the toughest because bellsprout isn't available in fire red and I think I will only use fire red pokemon.

Hmm... I could always use Scyther.

On top of that, I have never gotten the legendary dog on any play through of fire red.
