What do you like about VR?
I was thinking, because I was looking at the suggestions and it is kind of people just saying things that they don't like, and should be changed. So I would like to know, what DO you like about this wonderful website?!

I love the members here. They're really fun, nice and accepting. Without them, there'd be no Victory Road.

I like how it is neither too small that there's nothing to do, nor too big you get lost. I also like how suggestions are taken seriously and into consideration.

I almost always get people I know. Always. After a long time hanging around here, almost a year, in fact... Basically, the forum is much more focused than anyone else.

The atmosphere around here is great, and there are lots of friendly members. I consider folks around here to be sort of a family to me, especially since I don't have much of a social life.

Everyone basically said it for me. The community has made me stay, at least I'm welcomed here where as other places I'm just forgotten.

I've thought about it before, and honestly, the bad outweighs the good. But I think the reason why I'm still here is because... you guys are like family to me. Sure, there are over 6,000 members, but there can't be over 40 of them active. It has a much more personal atmosphere than a lot of other places.

I agree with most of you.
My favorite things of this place are that the staff are always trying to make this better. The admins actually respond when you say something. (Or else they would be a SADmin XD) I like how many types of pokemon people we accept. Because there are Battlers, Spriters, Gamers, etc. can all be here with out people not knowing what they are talking about (ya know) I members have more freedom then some of the forums I have seen. And that isn't all but I will be back as soon as one comes!

What do I like about VictoryRoad? The site explains itself, Pokémon-based yes but it accepts (don't get onto me if you don't like or understand what they are) furries like myself too. Not to mention when I remember to get back on here I have a place to post some of my remixes and talk to folks... Although it does seem rather quiet lately in VRIM. Nonetheless I am hoping that more people are making posts in the forum in the meantime as I think they are.

The fact that I can share my interests of Pokémon without fear of being mocked by anti-Pokémon people and this site is always quick with news revolving Pokémon. Plus the admins and global mods are all friendly and sociable people (I've been on a forum where the staff doesn't post on the forums until something bad in a thread happens). The people are also very accepting of each other on VR.

I love how caring and welcoming the community, and seeing it grow over the years is such an interesting experience. And much like PRS, I do come here by habit too. I have to actively try not go on to actually stop coming here. I've made many friends here, so I come back after a long leave to see them and become reintegrated in the community. I also love that it's a forum, so obviously I'm informed of all things happening in the Pokémon community, which I'd miss. Oh, and while some of the mods can be a little slow at their jobs (I don't blame them, they're people and need sleep too), they are still reliable for keeping VR whipped into shape! :3

I would like to add that I like how understanding people on VR are. I can ask something or tell someone something on here and it is always a possitive/helpful response. And I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but it is really awesome.

VR is the site that feels like a family. We all can share our sadness and we can all cheer the sad person up. We all can make jokes to make everyone laugh. Everyone here is understandable, so really, I think it's a site I don't think I could grow out of.

I joined because it seemed like an enjoyable place to chat with a nice memberbase. I don't always want to talk about Pokemon, but I do like to talk to people who have it in common with me. So far I think the site is doing a good job of making me feel welcome.

As much as I could go ooooon and ooooon about how much Victory Road means to me and how even despite the fact that I've already left twice or thrice that I always get pulled back in to the fun atmosphere, I think I'll keep this nice and short. I love everyone here. E-ver-y-one. The great people here always bring smiles to my face and I consider them to be my real friends, even more that the people I actually know. While some strange stuff happened to me and I witnessed even more strange things happen with others, I regret nothing that's happened to me here because it's helped me grow and develop my character. This one website, this great forum, is like a home to me, and I plan on living here for quite a while. |

Oh wow. There are just sooo many reasons why I like this place. This place just feels like a home to me. It was very welcoming from the start. I walked into that VRIM chat room and everyone welcomed me and most became friends of mine on here. Soo many people are soo nice on this forum, and I have a lot of memories here. It feels like I've grown close to a lot of the members here. The place isn't too big that I don't know about half of the active members. It's not too small that I know every single person and that it gets boring. It's just right and there's just enough. Another thing is- this place is the reason why I'm still attatched to Pokemon. It also introduced me into NEW reasons why I should like pokemon such as spriting, and other things. I would've never been this much into pokemon if it wasn't for this place. If it wasn't for VR, I would've ditched Pokemon for good a long time ago. I thank VR for that, it's brought a lot of fun to me. <3333333333 Victory Road Forums<333333333

This is also the only place I know where I can really be myself. Well, at least 70% of myself because I know I can do some weird freaky vulgar NSFW stuff, but thaaaaat usually doesn't see the light of day. I just feel open and free-spirited~ |
