Default World Trade Organization approves new site full of “pirated” material from US

http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2...erial-from-us/

Yep, so basically this will mean there will be a 100% legal website where you can download anything you want most likely our media for what will be 5$.

Anyone have have any thoughts?

I can't either...Seeing how the government lately has been cracking down on those of us who download stuff in this manner. Just look at MegaUpload...What ever happened to the owners anyway?

Megaupload actually just returned a few days ago:
https://mega.co.nz/

It's more of a cloud sync/backup service, but it still offers free file sharing. Everything is encrypted now so they can't "knowingly" store copyrighted materials.

But yeah, they went through litigation for sharing pirated materials.

Antigua got shafted by the states via an illegal currency embargo which ultimately crippled its gambling industry.

Personally all things considered, this is sweet justice, or at least lovely revenge. 21 million dollars worth of it, in fact. I fully approve and may (or likely will) get around to using the online shop aimed at to selling US copyright products and media in order to undercut the US at their own exports. Saves me some coin and gives the finger to the cheating corporations- seems fair enough to me.
