Default Android: Disable reverb on MIDI?

Does anybody have any idea how to lower or disable the default reverb on MIDI files on Android? It's really distracting and makes MIDI files sound bad.

Long version: Excessive reverb tends to emulate the Doppler effect, which is when the pitch of sound changes the farther it gets away, and because echoing tends to involve sound traveling a greater distance, it can cause overtones to resonate and make the music sound out of tune.

Short version: Too much reverb makes the music sound horrible.

Name one (or a few), and I'll check it/them out.

Unfortunately I'm not well-versed in Android land these days, especially with regards to alternative media players. A good start would be VLC, but I doubt it'll have the same functionality as the desktop version. I forgot what section the media players are usually in the Play Store, but if there's one, all of them should be found.

If in doubt, search "media player" in the store. (The Play Store is very useful - your device has access, no?)

Yeah, it has access. I remember trying to find a few before, and I had trouble finding a working one. RealPlayer, for instance, doesn't work at all on mine.

May not be exactly what you're looking for, but when I had Winamp on my android (before I had to get my phone whipped of all things last year), it seemed to work a lot better than the default music player. I've not tried midi files on my phone yet, however. Wonder if mine has that same reverb issue, it's a 2 year old model now though.
