Just a little over 15 years ago, this was the norm: Now this is the norm: edit 2, gah attachments edition): http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...s/?id=94101412 (^And that's even resized down) EDIT: Actually, a better comparison is the N64 and the 3DS. The 3DS is capable of what, near gamecube level graphics AND has built-in 3D? Obviously at a much lower resolution too, but even the original DS was more than capable of beating out the N64's graphics and the thing is about half the size of an N64 and doesn't require being plugged into some TV or something. Your attached image is 404'ing. I wonder what you're trying to show? But, yes, I can see the advances... Remember when your average handheld game looked like a bad colouring job? Remember warped textures, wobbly polygons, and trees that don't look like trees? Lego people?

And here's a link to that image if you're getting 404's still: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...s/?id=94101412 (I'd post a direct link, but I guess hotlinking is illegal now and I didn't hear about it. ) Last edited by OMGITSJAD; September 7, 2012 at 02:37:42 PM. |
