Default Blu Ray

I want to watch Blu Ray on my Lap Top but it's not accepting it, is there some program I can install on my computer to watch it or is it just impossible?

Blu-Ray discs, huh? Your laptop's optical drive needs to support Blu-Ray discs in the first place. Check your laptop model.

I've heard VLC should work, but I didn't have any luck with it. I know a friend had some Blu-ray software pre-installed on his laptop that came with a Blu-ray drive.

Blu-ray is a bit more complex than DVD, so it's not all that easy to create players for it.

With the software advice said, does your computer detect that a disc is in the drive?
