Pokémon TV app released for iOS and Android
The Pokémon Company International have released a Pokémon TV app for iOS, also stating that an Android version is coming soon.
The free app allows users to watch select episodes of the Pokémon anime from various seasons while on the go. The app requires iOS 5 or later and is downloadable on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Alright, I downloaded the app. Expect a lot of buffering if you're on a slow connection, but that's to be expected if you're watching any kind of video without much bandwidth.
Also, I think the aspect ratios are messed up on some of the episodes. According to reviews, some folks have been having all episodes stretched to 16:9, but I've been having all episodes stretched to 4:3. I hope they update it to fix that. THANK-YOU Pokemon for actually releasing an app on the Android instead of the Apple ONLY thing you did with that Pokedex. xP Well, as soon as my phone charges up, I know what I'm going to download (so long as I have enough room this time to download an app).
