Zsaberslash's Magikarp only run of Pokemon Red
Blame Komaru for this.
Terms and conditions: Magikarp has to be your starter. (Duh!) Evolving Magikarp is not permitted. For Ghost types another Magikarp may be catched and evolved. ONLY FOR USING ON GHOST TYPES. HM slaves are allowed to be used as long as it's outside of battle. Current progress: 'Karp is level 21! Currently training for Brock. Video's will be recorded for all Gym Leader/Elite 4/Champion battles. Video's may or may not be recorded for Rival battles and Giovanni battles. For masochists only!
That should be patched over a clean Pokémon Red ROM, I haven't tested it with Blue yet. If you don't already have it, download LunarIPS if you're on Windows, or UIPS if you run Mac. You'll also need an emulator to play it, try VBA (Windows) or KiGB (Mac) for that. Once you've patched the ROM and opened it up with VBA, select what would be Squirtle (second Pokéball) as your starter. Or else that just wouldn't be nice. Also, be grateful we decided to throw out having to restart the game if your Magikarp faints. That was too brutal— even for me. |

OH SHI-
I wasn't paying attention and I let it evolve. God, I hope I saved recently... ... ...Level 19. Great  I've beaten all the Viridian Forest trainers and the trainer in Brock's gym. Yeah... I've got bored and stopped. All this grinding is so tedious, I still haven't defeated Brock. Though I guess Misty will be easier, since Tackle will do twice as much damage on water than on rock. Ugh, the start of the game is SO HARD.

ROFL good luck. I don't have the patience to grind levels unless there is a VS Seeker like in FRLG stupid HGSS should've had it. Anyways, good luck to those who try to beat the game, probably the hardest challenge I have ever heard of.

Olook another video. This time it's the Rival battle in Cerulean. Bulbasaur was the biggest threat with Leech Seed and Vine Whip... Vine Whip tended to do 16-18 damage... ;_; |

Basically I don't really want to continue the Magikarp solo run anymore. Why?
a) Excessive grinding: It's boring b) Electric and Grass gyms versus one Water Pokemon: It won't end well... Bottom line: Magikarp run is cancelled. Let's Play Sonic 3 Complete will continue. (Though there are things that have been getting in the way of me making another part of it...)
