Default Aaaaargh! Not enough disk space to install the game I just bought!

So I just bought the Portal bundle at a nice discount.

Life with an SSD is hard! Portal 2 itself already takes up 11 GB... I doubt I'll make it with only 13 GB and not have Windows thrash.

Ever had a tale of running out of disk space on your computer/DSi/3DS/PSP/PSV/360/PS3/Wii, causing you to be unable to install, and then run the game?

You think living with your 128 gig is hard? Try living with 64. Even with only one game installed and not having the bulk of Windows, I ran out rather quickly.

Nah, it was a first generation Mac Mini. My mom's got an Air though, and she hasn't had any problems with it yet.

So many games in the Steam library, so little space. Such is the cost of ultraportables and their SSDs, but you can still fit in some games... xD

I do have a feeling that I'm going to have to buy an aftermarket SSD two years in if the computer still holds strong when it comes to games (I doubt it)

I do this weird thing called "If I haven't played a game/used a program in a while, backup save/configuration/whatever files and uninstall the program until I want it again". I got over 30 games in Steam, but only 13 of them are currently installed (and even then I can probably do away with 7 of them).

Man, living with 683GB on my HDD is so difficult. I have all this room to download stuff, but nothing to download. Whatever shall I do?

But seriously, I've never really had to deal with a space issue on any sort of storage device.

I constantly have less than 500 MB left on my Playstation 3. So whenever I want to play a new game on it, I always have to find an older game that takes quite a bit of space and remove it...

It's a shame, I've had quite a few really good save files deleted for space.

It's a good thing my computer sucks so installing more games on it would be a stupid idea.
In the console world, however, my ONLY GameCube memory card is...just about completely full. Which is bad because I want a few more Game Cube games...same with my Wii's system memory.
