Old-fashioned stuffs.
So uh.
I've just finished rummaging through what is left of the evidence from my probation, and I found seventeen separate flash drives and two SD cards. When totaled, the sum memory barely escaped fifteen gigs. Most of them were 512m [lawlz], with a few gigs here and there. I can't imagine not having several thousands of gigs at my disposal anymore. Which got me to wondering...
What's the oldest flash drive you can find around the house? o3o
Ol' Techy's curious. Oldest one I got is a Western Union USB 1.0 512m/pen combo that has to be pushing six years old. It was mostly full of Pokénaughties and other items of vague and questionable sanity. I think what surprised me most was the items on any of my memory systems not being questioned by the cyberfuzz.
But! That brought me to another question... [And you can use the [Search] function, WinMacs...] What's the oldest file you can find on any Hard Drive or flash drive?
Mine's an old N.RT-2 protocol queue I wrote nine years ago, apparently still floating around on my 40g sys HDD. o:
What about you, VR? Also, discuss old tech/os'/jazz.
