Default When it comes to the markup in your documents...

Do you try to make them as human-readable as possible, with comments used extensively to document everything inside documents, and with liberal use of tabs, spaces and non-markup line breaks (Enter) to make it as neat as possible?

Or do you try to crunch the documents so that everything is contained within the minimal amount of space possible without regard for readability, even if it means shaving off just a few kilobytes?

Or do you take an in-between approach in this?

Me, sometimes my code can get messy, especially HTML, but at least parts where there is supposed to be categorized properly are commented on.

I like line breaks in my CSS files because it makes reading and editing things easier.
