Default Triple battles.

So a few days ago I felt like using all 6 of my Pokémon in Battle Spot, and that led me to trying out Triple Battles. Turns out I like them quite a bit. It's a different strategy than singles, it's a lot more hyper-offense based, since any one pokémon can be double- or triple-teamed in any given turn.

Anyone else do these?

When we had wifi for Black & White (1&2) i always did triples, i was better at that than doubles. I havnt play triples yet in X&Y.

I never do triples, if you know what I mean. Because there's just too many Pokemon for me and Doubles are already annoying enough when one of your Pokes gets teamed up on.

Eh, I'm more of a Rotation Battle person. It's almost like singles... only with an added flair of chance and strategy. It kind of reminded me of the Battle Arcade, and I excel in both. Triples were just too cluttered and hectic for me to get into.

I prefer Single Battles to Triple Battles. A strategy for Triple Battles that I have is you should always have a couple move that hits all of your opponents on the Pokemon that's in the center, and then have standard competitive sets on the other two Pokemon. But, that leads me to why I like Single Battles better, because two or three of your opponent's Pokemon could gang up on one of your's, which could cause an unfair battle, but in Single Battles, that can't happen.

It's not unfair at all, because both players can do it.

I know, but it can really change the outcome of a battle for either side.

I know this is a smogon illegal setting, but a drizzle politoad, swift swim kingdra, and rain dance jolteon (sent out in that order) KILLS in a triple battle. Especially if kingra has muddy water. Screw that low accuracy, that move is deadly. Don't know how it would do in the metagame (won't find out as it's illegal) but in the EV trained PWT, It even takes down dragon trainers. :3
I love triple battles.
