After years of searching, I finally found Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64) for a good price. $30 got me a cartridge in very nice shape (which also included shipping). Not bad considering one in this condition could go for $50-60.
Edit: Holy Arceus, I just started the game up and the previous owner has a save file with nearly 107 HOURS of gameplay. I also got Dragster for the Atari 2600 ($2) and Stunt Racer 3000 ($8 ). SR is a N64 racing game created by Midway (which you may know from the Rush and Cruis'n games they released on the system) which has a heavy futuristic 50s vibe. While it was a great game, it unfortunately never got a full release. The only way you could have played it back in the day was to rent it from Blockbuster. As a result, this game is kinda rare to come across. I actually already have this game, but this one is in nicer shape then mine and I can easily make my money back and then some. I was surprised actually that the same store which charges you $70 for a NES top-loader, $70 for CBFD and $100 for Earthbound (AKA they know which stuff is rare) would let it go for that price considering it could go for about $20 (though if it had the box it could easily go for over $100). There's your obscure N64 game lesson for the day. Seriously though, if you are into racing games definitely check this one out. Last edited by Yoshi648; September 1, 2011 at 10:58:01 AM. |

Does Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, Metroid, Wrecking Crew, NES Open Tournament Golf, Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climbers and Mario and Yoshi count? They're "free" from one point of view, but they're also "half of a purchased limited $80 bundle" from another point of view. (:

A used Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut game for $9.99. Even though I couldn't find Sonic Adventure 2 Battle as well, I still feel exactly like this.

Modizer, which is an extremely versatile, multiple format video game music player app for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. It's the best $2 I had ever spent on a video game music player.

Haven't posted here in a while so got a little catching up to do:
Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 (PS1) - $5 - Turns out this is just an expansion disk and I need the original (which I don't have on PS1 but on PC) in order to play it. Crazy Taxi 2 (DreamCast) - $4 Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (PS2) - $4 Guitar Hero: World Tour (PS2) - $3 Burnout Legends (PSP) - $10 I also got a PSP 1001 system. It was a bit beat up when I got it but I've slowly been fixing it up. It's very close to being finished, just need to get a new battery cover and charger and I'll take pictures of the system that now works very nicely. After all the parts and stuff, came to about $50. I bought:
Paper Mario (N64 V.C.) Pokemon Rumble (Wiiware) Mario's Picross (eShop) and Super Mario RPG (SNES V.C.) The only one out of those four I haven't beaten is SMRPG. Then again, I just bought it about 4 days ago, but the other ones I bought about a month ago. |

Last thing I personally bought was a while ago.
I don't really have money to spend so when I get games, it's usually when I find enough stuff I don't need anymore and sell it to friends, or when my parents buy them for me. Last game I actually bought was Pokémon Green, which cost me about $12CAD on eBay and seems to be legit. If you count stuff my parents paid for, then it'd be Pokémon White, which costed about $40CAD. There's this one other game I'm not sure counts since it wasn't for me, but this summer, when I went to France, I bought Jam with the Band for my friend (I already had the game and the game is Japan/Europe only.) I had about 60€ to spend and about 45 of those went for that. |

Pokémon Gold Version... $0. It would have cost me $10 at my local pawnshop if I hadn't traded in a couple of Game Boy Advance games that my SP thought was defective (don't ask... it's always been funny about certain used games).

Well it was recently my birthday and to say the least, my Steam account got some new friends totaling at my proud amount of 67 games.
ANYWAY. Recent games I bought are: The Binding of Issac Call of Duty World at War Battlefield 3 Call of Duty Modern Warefare 3. All of which are for PC. Along with some other indie games on sale for a few bucks now and then. |

Went out to some garage sales and a thrift store yesterday and got the following:
Logitech PSP phat case - 50 cents GBA case + GBA light/magnifier + 3rd patry link cable + Pokemon Sapphire - $2 Xbox controller (blue) - $5 NES controller - $2 PS2 that doesn't read games - $20 (this is more then what I would normally pay for something like this, however broken PS2 systems are easily selling for $30-50 each on eBay because people buy these systems with broken DVD drives, mod them to play games off harddrives, and then re-sell them). I also found a Hot Wheels car from 1975 for 50 cents. 95% of the original paint is stripped off, but still pretty cool non the less. Last edited by Yoshi648; November 13, 2011 at 08:05:33 AM. |

Chessmaster for NES, $2. Not the most exciting game in my collection, but it certainly brings back childhood memories of playing it on my uncle's Nintendo.
I must also make mention that I found the first Sonic the Hedgehog game for my Genesis, and I got it after trading in a couple of not-so-exciting Genesis games. Other notable purchases: - CH Flightstick Pro for Windows 95/DOS - $0.50. Bought it, just because I used to own the Macintosh version of it. - LXI/Sears stereo VCR from around 1992 - $5. This will eventually replace my Sylvania VCR from 1985, and will also replace some unneeded stereo AV switches. I have yet to give it a full-scale cleaning. Last edited by Seiji J. You won't need any more games for a year. Srsly. I bought Scrolls and Cobalt, as well as a cape for Minecraft (Which can all be grouped together into something called a 'Minecon Ticket'). And a second Minecraft account. My brother bought Skyrim yesterday, so I'm gonna watch him play it for a bit, too. That counts as a purchase, right? :P |

Remember that Atari 2600 I got a few weeks ago? Still too modern:
This here be a Magnavox Odyssey 500 from 1976. This was one of the first gaming systems to display in color and have players on screen instead of just paddles. Built-in games include Squash, Tennis (Pong), and Hockey/Soccer. Came with the power supply, but need to figure out how to hook it to my TV since it has a weird connector at the end instead of a standard RCA plug and I don't want to spend $25 for the switchbox. This cost me $20 ($15 of which went to shipping). Also here is a picture of the system that the guy I bought it from took before sending it out. I think I did a pretty good job of cleaning it up Last edited by Yoshi648; January 25, 2012 at 03:31:26 PM. |

A PS1/PS2 controller adapter for my USB-equipped PC. No rumble support, unfortunately, but the adapter seems to work fine, no matter what kind of PlayStation controller I use with it: Original digital pad, DualShock (sans the rumble motors), even my Intec wireless PS2 controller. :3

Yes, I finally got one of these 2-screened, advanced 3D playing systems:
SO MUCH SPACE, NEED TO FILL IT ALL This wasn't what you had in mind was it? Yep, finally got me a Nintendo Virtual Boy. Cost me $50, not bad considering that included shipping ($16), the system works great, and even came with the AC adapter (which in itself is about $15-20). It also came with the game Red Alarm, and I already have Wario Land and Mario Tennis for it. From what I've played with it so far, it's actually not as bad as everyone is making it seem. Yes it does seem a bit bland with only red/black graphics and yes after playing it in the darkness of the eyeshade and then into the real world with light gives a OH ARCEUS MY EYES moment, but other then that it's a pretty interesting system. I grabbed a Cave Story+ code off Nicalis' Twitter if that counts!
Also I've put Ł24 on my Steam account. I spent Ł3.75 on Oblivion since it was 75% off today. I'm waiting for the Christmas sales to arrive before I spend the rest. Maybe if you're super nice to me you'll get a gift ;3 Last edited by Ningamer; December 9, 2011 at 04:43:37 PM. |

Ordered a 2000-point Wii Shop card, and a USB-to-MIDI adapter, both from Amazon [dot] com. The bad thing is, I'm not sure what Virtual Console games I'd like to use the card for, but I do know that they'll be NES games.

Went to some garage sales and got the following:
Nintendo DS case - $2 PlayStation games: Tetris Plus, Bust a Move 2, Space Invaders, Namco Museum 3, Centipede, and Intelligent Qube. All complete (except Centipede was missing the disk, gar) for $15 total.
