The girl wondered for a second, "Why hasn't it sped up..?" she eventually bumped into a boy of a similar age to her. He looked behind her at the monster, and stepped back, "Holy pieces-of-pancakes! We've got to run away!" he didn't stop to check if she was following, when he rollerbladed off. He was wearing white rollerblades, a blue jacket, and a red bandana, covering up his hair, meaning she couldn't tell what colour it was. She ran to catch up with her, the monster suddenly getting faster than it had been. It wanted to devour the boy, not the girl. But how could the girl know that this monster was trying to kill everyone she met? It all started when she found a ruby eye one day.. But that's a story for another time.
Picking up a random bone she found, the girl tossed it back to try to hit the monster, instead, it went over its head, the monster turning around, as if it was a dog playing fetch, and tried to find the bone, to bring it back to the girl. It was very.. Dog-like, indeed. Last edited by Roxas; August 11, 2012 at 05:08:07 AM. |

Taking this chance to flee, the girl grabbed the boy's hand, and dragged him with her, "Come on! We have to hurry! Hurry, hurry!" she told him, trying to find a safehouse or something. "Slow down, would ya! I'm getting tired! Don't you want me to live?!" he panted, "Shut up and hurry! We don't have time for you to stop!"
They found an old building on the outskirts of the town, and hide inside, the monster passing the building by, not noticing them. "Now we can relax.. Whew." the girl sighed with relief, "I'm Amelia. Amelia Hartington. Pleased to meet you." "Scott. Scott Longfield. Don't forget it.. You won't, will you?" Amelia, the girl, shook her head, "Thank you, Amelia." Scott, the boy, smiled. "Now where are we?" |
