Default An OU team from a Mono Trainer!

But How is this possible? A Mono-Team maker creating a NON Mono Team? Lets get this Disaster over with.

Team Building Process
Team Building Process

Well Where else to start than a lead? Thundurus worked well before, so he should work now!

Now, Since I have been mass-breeding these, might as well use one! Cue, Excadrill.

Now to add a Special Sweeper. Gengar come on in!

Now I needed a Rapid Spinner and Support Poke. Donphan Time!

Now to bring a classic from My Mono Electric. Electivire!

Now for a wall. From my Mono Dark. Spiritomb!

The Team

Dhalism (Thundurus) (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 12 HP / 252 SAtk / 244 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
~ Taunt
~ Focus Blast
~ Thunderbolt
~ Nasty Plot

Yet again, Dhalism makes a return from my Mono-Electric Team. This is my lead. Well, an Anti-Lead. Taunt is your basic anti setup. Focus Blast checks Tyranitar, Ferrothorn, and any other rocks/steels.. Thunderbolt is an additional form of damage and Nasty Plot boosts its attacks to high amounts. Prankster is Sublime on this set. It gives Taunt and NP priority to utterly destroy almost every lead.

Excadrill @ Life Orb
Nature : Jolly
Ability : Sand Force
EV's : 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
~ Swords Dance
~ Earthquake
~ Brick Break
~ Rock Slide

This Excadrill is your classic, Run-off-the-Mill Sweeper. Excadrill Sword Dances and just sweep. It is unfortunate that Excadrill can't learn Stone Edge though. Instead I put Rock Slide for coverage against flying types. Earthquake is Earthquake; not much explaining. Brick Break ruins Screens and is for coverage.

Gengar @ Life Orb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
~ Shadow Ball
~ Focus Blast
~ Thunderbolt
~ Hidden Power [Ice]
Ability: Levitate
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

Shadow Ball is STAB, Focus Blast is for T-tar and anyother Darks that would Wall Shadow Ball. Thunderbolt has reliable accuracy and decent power, with some useful super-effective hits on Gyarados and Starmie, and Hidden Power [Ice] OHKOs Salamence and other Pokémon 4x weak to Ice moves.

Donphan @ Leftovers
252 HP/ 188 Atk / 68 Def
Ability: Sturdy
Jolly Nature (+Spd, - SpAtk)
~ Rapid spin
~ Earthquake
~ Stealth Rock
~ Ice shard

This is for Rapid Spin support with a nasty Surprise. Rapid Spin is Rapid Spin and Earthquake is yet again Earthquake. Stealth Rock is Stealth Rock. While Ice Shard is for Priority and Cover.

Bug Swatta (Electivire) (M) @ Expert Belt
Trait: Motor Drive
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly (+ Spd, -SpAtk)
~ Earthquake
~ Brick Break
~ Ice Punch
~ Thunder Punch

This is your classic off-the-mill physical sweeper. Earthquake is Earthquake. I prefer Brick Break over Cross Chop for the Accuracy and Screen Breaking. Ice punch is for grounds and Dragons, and Thunder Punch is STAB. I chose Thunder Punch over Wild Charge because of the recoil Wild Charge gives. Motor Drive is used for the speed boost on the random Electric move. And Expert belt is there for any super-effectives.

Spritomb @ Leftovers
Ability" Pressure
Nature: Careful
EVs: 208 HP/ 184 Atk/ 116 SpD
~ Suckerpunch
~ Pursuit
~ Will-O-Wisp
~ Pain Split

Spiritomb is a great pokemon as he has absolutely no weaknesses. Sucker Punch has priority and hits well. Pursuit takes care of switching out Ghosts such as Gengar and hopefully a Rotom who will be a pain later on especially against my Donphan. Will-O-Wisp causes a burn which helps out heaps. Pain Split lets me heal as well as damaging the opponents which is a double plus.

So, thoughts? Opinions?

Any constructive criticism is highly appreciated. If you found this team pathetic, I hope you enjoyed your laugh...
