Opening Scenes: Part 1 & 2    

--Opening Cutscene--



[This scene focuses on the aftermath from the events in Zero 4,

as well as what happened to Zero, and some of the characters of Zero 2 and 3.]



*Flashback of Zero's death in Zero 4, then cutting to other scene of Fefnir, Leviathan, and Hapruia

escaping Neo Arcadia, just as the Caravan did from Zero 4. In this scene you can see Weil's Reploids

giving chase to the "Ex - Guardians of Neo Arcadia", as Fefnir dies trying to let Leviathan and Hapruia

escape.*



Diary of Dr. Ciel: 



"Heroes couldn't change the world. That's what they all said.

I still believed in you, after they said you were dead.

My thoughts, heavy yet bitter, still remain in the past.

Little did I know, those moments with Ragnarok would be your last.

That's what they all said, yet I know your not gone.

--Opening Cutscene Part 2--



[Cut to scene of area where Zero crash - landed at the end of Zero 4. You can see

Zero's dead body. Yes. Dead.]



*Winds howling, Elpizo from Zero 2 in Cyber - Elf form appears*



Elpizo: "(Well, well, well. Would'ya look who it is.)"



        *Elpizo floats closer to Zero's face*



Elpizo: "(Tis' a shame to see the world's greatest Reploid hero dead.

         He did fight a long time...Should I leave him? I'm

         sure he's totally sick of all this.)



        *Elpizo returns to his Reploid form*



Elpizo: "(Hmm...) Well, Zero, looks like your not quite done yet."



        *Somehow revives Zero*



Zero:   "...!"



Elpizo: "Top of the morning, sleeping beauty!"



Zero:   "Wha...What happened?"



Elpizo: "You were...Dead. I revived you."



Zero:   "How'd you exactly do that...?"



Elpizo: "Remember how Weil revived Copy X and those other

         Reploids?"



Zero:   "Yes...How'd you know that!?"



Elpizo: "Easy, silly. When I became a Cyber - Elf after that battle 

         when I was possessed by the Dark Elf, now known as the Mother Elf, 

         I wasn't just wandering around. I was captured by Weil and was 

         used to revive some of his minions. After you destroyed Ragnarok, I escaped. 

         It's been two months since you died, Zero."



Zero:   "How and why'd you revive me, then?"



Elpizo: "I'm not sure how I got these powers from the Dark Elf, but

         thanks to her, you're alive again."



Zero:   "Beautiful."



Elpizo: "Also, Zero...I don't think Weil is dead."



        *Ominous music plays*



Zero:   "I'm sorry...Being dead for two months can make one a little hard

         of hearing...What?"



Elpizo: "After you destroyed Ragnarok, I returned here at the crash site to look for

         you. A few weeks ago, I noticed multiple armed Reploids wandering around... 

         I tried telling Neo Arcadia what I saw, but I'm banned from entering. 

         They won't believe me after my little infamous Dark Elf incident. I'm thinking if 

         we go to Neo Arcadia and find original X's body, we can revive him. This could 

         improve our fighting chances against Weil. You've got to tell them before they're 

         all dead. They'll certainly trust you."



Zero:   "Why me, though? Why not Harpuia, Leviathan or Fefnir?"



Elpizo: "I couldn't find them. I didn't know where to look. By the way, 

         I don't wanna get left behind in this dump...

         I can join you on your great adventure, right?"



Zero:   "Is that sarcasm?"



        *Mission Start!*

- It turns out, after original X's body was destroyed in Zero 2 and Weil took over Neo Arcadia 

  in Zero 3/4, Weil found original X's remains in Neo Arcadia's core, and used X's pieces to make 

  a powerful new villian Reploid, which he soon stored inside Ragnarok to be worked on. By the 

  end of Zero 4, Weil wasn't done creating it. With Ragnarok destroyed, the pieces of original X 

  were scattered across the world.



- Later in the story, Zero and Elpizo find out that X was the only Reploid who was able to truely

  kill Weil, and the two venture worldwide to rebuild X, using his pieces that were scattered. The

  twosome find out about this from a long - lost prophecy, hidden in Neo Arcadia's walls.
